Two buses with illegal immigrants arrived in New York City Friday morning from Texas.
These buses were sent by Texas Governor Greg Abbott. Greg Abbott will be visiting left-leaning cities like New York and Washington D.C.
Abbott started sending migrants from his state to liberal cities thousands miles away from the U.S. border to show his support for illegal immigration and to highlight the problem of migrant crises in his state.
Eric Adams, New York City Mayor, and Muriel Bowser, Washington, D.C. Mayor, have criticised Abbott’s busing of hundreds of migrants across the border from his state to their northern cities.
Adams called Abbott’s busing plan “inhumane” while Bowser compared the arrival of migrants with a “humanitarian crises.”
McAllen Mayor Javier Villalobos said that Washington is kind of drowning because you see New York. “We used to receive over a thousand people per day.”
Villalobos stated that McAllen could handle thousands of immigrants per day. “I believe they can handle a few hundred.”
