President Joe Biden announced that he would appoint MSNBC analyst Jeremy Bash as President’s Intelligence Advisory Board. Bash claimed that Hunter Biden’s scandalous laptop was filled with Russian disinformation.

Numerous news outlets have confirmed that Biden’s laptop is authentic. Bash was among more than 50 ex intelligence officials who signed an agreement to dismiss it as Russian disinformation. This was in advance of 2020’s presidential election. The letter was widely distributed in the media.

Bash was the ex-Civil Intelligence Agency Chief of Staff. He also serves as a MSNBC pundit. Bash signed the October 2020 letter that attempted to downplay scandals prior to Election Day.

They said, “It was because all these reasons that it is that I write to you that the US political scene appeared emails purportedly belonging to Vice President Biden’s Son Hunter. Much of this was related to his time as a Board member for the Ukrainian gas company Burisma. It has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation. ”

Bash and other ex officials admitted that they did not know “if these emails…are genuine” and that there was no evidence that Russia was involved, but they maintained that they were “deeply suspicious that the Russian government played any role in this matter.” ”

It spread quickly online. The letter was quickly spread online by several members of the Biden administration, including Jen Psaki who would eventually become Biden’s first press Secretary. Joe Biden tried to discredit reports about his son’s laptop.

Bash dismissed Russian disinformation from the laptop on several MSNBC programs including “The Rachel Maddow Show”, which airs only once per week.

Bash was appointed to Biden’s Intelligence Advisory Board. The Washington Examiner reported this news.

He did not immediately respond to MSNBC’s question about whether he would remain involved in the operations of the network.
