Rep. Jamaal Bowman and his fellow Squad members have shown they’re clueless when it comes to the war between Israel and Hamas. As we have reported, Squad members have come out in support of the radical campus encampments.

But just to show how ignorant Bowman is on the subject, he fell for a troll from the social media parody account of “Rabbi Linda Goldstein,” who bills herself as the “Chief Rabbi of Gaza.” The account is really run by a pro-Israel person and it’s pretty hilarious, which anyone would have been able to discern if they took the time to look at the timeline.

The “rabbi” messaged Bowman, asking about running a fundraiser for his campaign.

Now, of course, anyone with even one brain cell would understand that there isn’t a “Chief Rabbi” in Gaza, which is controlled by Hamas. But that shows how ignorant Bowman and/or his team are, which is part of the problem. Plus, notice how they were completely cool with the “anti-Zionist” phrasing. Great job, there, Jamaal.

They didn’t take a look at the timeline of the account or they would have seen fun things like this:

My favorite is the “oat milk,” but the “Canada Goose Jackets” reference is priceless too.

“She” also had quips about Hamas needing to “socially distance” in its terror tunnels and other similar inanities.  According to the NY Post, “she” is a pro-Israel attorney named Michael.

The Bowman camp tried to fluff it off, saying it was a “standard staff response.” Well, if that’s standard, they just showed how ignorant they truly are. And he’s in a tight race with his opponent, Westchester County Executive George Latimer, with polls (cited in the NY Post piece, above) suggesting he could lose, so any little slip — like his idiocy on this issue — could cost him the election.
