Not only did President-elect Donald Trump handily win the election on Nov. 5, he also won the popular vote with over 77 million votes.
Now on top of that, most Americans are also approving of his transition moves. This is despite the efforts of many in the media/many Democrats trying to tank his nominees.
It seems once again, just like with the election, Americans are tuning out the attack-dog media, and even CNN has to admit it.
CNN’s senior data analyst Harry Enten laid out how completely Trump has won his party, including that almost all the GOP members who voted to impeach Trump are now themselves gone, while Trump has triumphed. “It’s Trump’s party, and his GOP opponents can cry if they want to,” Enten said, borrowing from Lesley Gore’s famous song.
“They’re adios amigos, goodbye!” Enten smiled, waving. That’s hilarious and he says it with such enthusiasm it makes me wonder about who he supports. He also thinks this is very positive for potential legislation.
“He should be able to ram through legislation,” he said. I think that he’s right about Trump having more support now; plus, with the voters pushing, it’s going to be harder for GOP members who might want to stand in his way of getting things done, although there still seem to be those who don’t want to get things done there in Congress. But I think if everyone sticks to their guns, they can get things done despite any resistance.
Enten pointed out how 96 percent of GOP voters were approving of the transition moves by Trump. It’s hard to get more than that. But it’s indicative of how much the people want action — they don’t want the same old, same old bureaucratic nonsense. They want to clean house. That’s why there’s such an embrace of things like DOGE.

Enten also explains how this isn’t likely to change in the future because the people coming up now behind Trump are MAGA as well, including JD Vance, Donald Trump Jr., and Vivek Ramaswamy. So, the bench is looking pretty strong.
Bottom line? The American people voted for Trump and his policies. That’s what they want put through. They want an economy that doesn’t run them over; they want a secure border; they don’t want to be involved in endless wars. And they want the government cleaned out and reoriented to its true purpose and not an ever-mushrooming money pit bureaucracy that seeks to control us.
