Trump Continues War on Harvard and Antisemitism, DHS Secretary Noem Hits ‘Em Where It Hurts

Donald Trump has taken a battering ram to Ivy League Harvard University over its tolerance of rampant antisemitism on its campus since the Oct. 7 Hamas slaughter in Israel. The president has yanked millions in funding and warned them of more consequences if they do not protect their Jewish students and clamp down on the hate.

Unfortunately—for Harvard at least—they didn’t listen, and now some of those consequences are here courtesy of the Department of Homeland Security and its secretary, Kristi Noem:

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is eliminating the student visa program at Harvard University due to “pro-terrorist conduct” at campus protests, Fox News Digital has learned.

It’s a severe consequence for what DHS claims is Harvard’s refusal to comply with its requests for behavioral records of student visa holders.

It’s about accountability, Noem declared:

“This administration is holding Harvard accountable for fostering violence, antisemitism, and coordinating with the Chinese Communist Party on its campus,” said Secretary Kristi Noem. “It is a privilege, not a right, for universities to enroll foreign students and benefit from their higher tuition payments to help pad their multibillion-dollar endowments. Harvard had plenty of opportunity to do the right thing. It refused. They have lost their Student and Exchange Visitor Program certification as a result of their failure to adhere to the law. Let this serve as a warning to all universities and academic institutions across the country.”

New: President Trump Revoking Harvard’s Tax-Exempt Status

Noem has been requesting records regarding visa-holding students so they can see if any of them are troublemakers and inciting hate and violence. Harvard has mostly been stonewalling her efforts.

Unless this conflict gets resolved quickly, Harvard can no longer enroll foreign students for the 2025-2026 school year. Existing foreign students, meanwhile, must transfer or they’ll have their legal status to reside in the U.S. revoked.

Noem:

“As a result of your brazen refusal to comply with multiple requests to provide the Department of Homeland Security pertinent information while perpetuating an unsafe campus environment that is hostile to Jewish students, promotes pro-Hamas rhetoric, and employs racist ‘diversity, equity, and inclusion’ policies, you have lost this privilege,” Noem wrote in a letter to Maureen Martin, the university’s director of immigration services.

Clearly, she’s not messing around, and she gave them 72 hours to respond if they don’t want this punishment to go forward.

Many “elite” academic institutions in our nation have acted disgracefully as they allowed tent cities filled with violent protesters and “intifadah!”-yelling zealots to intimidate Jewish students and foster a sense of fear. Trump, as he should, is bringing consequences. They can make changes, or they can keep getting figuratively smacked over the head.

Your play, Harvard.
