President Donald Trump definitely lit up on Friday at a press conference after a cameraman in the room made a surprising declaration of support for the 47th U.S. president.

During a White House press briefing, Trump took a wide range of questions from members of the media, including one about his immigration policies and success at the southern border. The reporter asked President Trump about how “Illegal crossings at the border are zero now…”

Trump interjected, “Zero! Does everyone hear that? Zero.”

It was then that cheering could be heard in the room, with a cameraman shouting, “Trump 2028,” per Special Assistant to the President and Communications Advisor, Margo Martin.

Trump responded by looking around the room before he spotted the man, asking, “Who’s that guy?! I like him! I like him.”

“He’s working the cameras,” Trump added.

The president’s reaction drew laughter from some in the room.

As RedState wrote, other memorable moments from the Friday impromptu presser included Trump responding to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei’s claim of “total victory,” saying, “You got beat to hell.”

The president was asked about the successful airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities and Khamenei’s delusional videotaped message after the bombing.

“I am putting out a little statement, I am going to respond to the Ayatollah’s statement yesterday that we won the war,” Trump told members of the press. “I said, ‘Look, you’re a man of great faith, a man who is highly respected in his Country, you have to tell the truth. You got beat to hell.'”

“And Israel is beat up, too. They were both beat up,” he added. “It was a great time to end it.”

During the same event, the President and Attorney General Pam Bondi took a victory lap after the United States Supreme Court handed down a ruling that nationwide injunctions exceed the authority provided to the judiciary, RedState reported.

TRUMP: This morning, the Supreme Court has delivered a monumental victory for the Constitution, the separation of powers, and the rule of law in striking down the excessive use of nationwide injunctions to interfere with the normal functioning of the executive branch. The Supreme Court has stopped the presidency itself. That’s what they’ve done, and really, it’s been an amazing period of time this last hour. There are people elated all over the Country, such happiness and spirit. Sometimes you don’t see that, but this case is very important.

I was elected on a historic mandate, but in recent months, we’ve seen a handful of radical left judges effectively try to overrule the rightful powers of the President to stop the American people from getting the policies they voted for in record numbers. It was a grave threat to democracy, frankly, and instead of merely ruling on the immediate cases before them, these judges have attempted to dictate the law for the entire nation.

As Bonchie noted in the piece linked above, “Attorney General Pam Bondi echoed that sentiment while providing more detail, noting that 35 out of the 40 nationwide injunctions came from ‘five liberal districts in the country.'”
