Rep. Liz Cheney (R.W.Y.) received her walking papers yesterday.
She not only lost but also lost a record amount. She lost 38 points. You would expect that the race would shrink the numbers but she lost more than what the polls predicted. We had previously mentioned that there was speculation about 9,000 people being affected by the Democratic crossover vote. The remarkable resolve shown by Wyoming Republicans was something the media didn’t mention. In the past, Cheney won with numbers in the 70,000 to 60,000 range in primary races. Harriet Hageman now has 99 percent of the vote, while Cheney has 49,316 — 66.33% to 28.94%. Hageman was voted in by 40,000 more people than usual. This is a large number of people who came out to ensure that Cheney was gone. They wanted to make sure that the Republicans in their area would be able to vote in this election, despite the Democratic efforts to pull off funny business. Her loss would be even more if you took out 9,000. Twitchy notes that this would increase the loss to 41 or 42 points.
However, that doesn’t stop Cheney from falling for the delusion of liberal media who try to portray her as a noble “thing” that can be used to attack Republicans or as presidential material. She rambles about how she thinks about it as if that wasn’t her game.
Daily Mail:
She stated that Donald Trump is a continuing threat to the Republic. “And I believe that he will be defeated if there is a broad, united front of Republicans and Democrats as well as Independents. That’s what I plan to be.
She stated, “I know there are millions and even millions of Americans across the country, again regardless of their party affiliation. They know there’s something greater than partisan politics, and they know we all need to stand together if this republic is to be saved.”
When asked if she was considering running for president, the congresswoman replied: “That’s a decision I’m going make in the next months.”
Cheney stated, “I’m not going make any announcements here today,” “But it’s something I’m thinking about.”
According to her spokesperson, she will be starting an anti-Trump group for political outreach while she considers running.
Cheney, who was so deluded Tuesday evening after her loss that she compared herself with Abraham Lincoln and Ulysses Grant. It was hilarious as well as ridiculous.
If you are unable to win Wyoming and if your alleged supporters throw you out because you abandon them or are more focused on your agenda than theirs then who do you think your constituency is to run for president? You shouldn’t continue attacking Republicans. Not Democrats who will throw you under the bus in a flash if you don’t serve their purpose of attacking Trump and Republicans. The Lincoln Project and the Never Trump people? You can’t even board a bus with that much money and a dime. It is truly shameful that she makes such comments after such a loss and then rejects her constituents. She is living in a liberal media bubble about her importance and not the reality she was given last night.
It’s time to end Cheney’s reign.
