As we noted, the Harris campaign team went on “Pod Save America” and seemed to be singularly clueless about why they lost. They kept coming up with wild excuses, like somehow the media was mean and faulting them for not doing interviews, and they didn’t have time to do Joe Rogan, despite having time to do other far less high-profile interviews and events. They couldn’t seem to take any responsibility for their own failures.
Then, when Kamala Harris and Tim Walz spoke to their donors and grassroots supporters, they sounded very self-congratulatory. There seemed to be no reflection on how they could improve things, as DNC operative Lindy Li said.

Now, a major Democratic donor, John Morgan, is truly eviscerating the Harris campaign team, and on Fox to Kayleigh McEnany, no less. Morgan attacked Harris, saying she was no “Barack Obama” and that she had “no talent.” “I begged them not to put her up,” Morgan said.
“She was going to be tethered to Biden, no matter what. That was a zero-sum game for her,” he said, indicating she started out with that deficit. He noted, rather astutely, that the votes she got weren’t really for her; they were against Donald Trump and that the votes Trump got were for him.
Morgan pointed out how Trump took the advice of his son Barron, “who looks like a runway model,” to go on podcasts and to go on Joe Rogan. That decision to go on podcasts introduced him to a lot of voters in a unique way. It electrified and intrigued a lot of the younger voters who then saw Trump was nothing like the liberal media had said. It humanized him and showed how funny he could be.

Joe Rogan’s Epic Interview of Donald Trump, Including What They Said About Kamala
Barron Trump was a lot smarter than everybody in the Harris campaign, Morgan said. He chastised the progressives on Harris’ team for talking her out of going on Rogan.
Look, if I’m running, I’m going on Joe Rogan, I’m living on Fox, that’s how you change minds. They played hide the ball. They lost badly. She should go away and never, ever come back. She spent almost two billion dollars. They’re raising money this week to pay off the debt. If you can’t run your campaign, you damn sure can’t run the country.
Oof. Now, that’s about as accurate a takedown as you’re ever going to hear of the failure. It just decimates Harris for the future, despite whatever her delusions might be now about running again. It also is a real indictment of the whole process of the efforts of the Democrats in the campaign.
