Elon Musk Is Paged After Dave Rubin Gets Suspended for Tweet on Jordan Peterson’s Suspension

The “woke” Twitter Powers are back at it again. This time, Dave Rubin was caught up in their crosshairs.

The popular author and political commentator landed in hot water for merely criticizing Twitter’s suspension of Canadian professor Jordan Peterson. This happened in June after Elliot Page did what is now known in transgender communities as “deadnaming,”  actor Elliot Page, formerly known as Ellen Page before Page started identifying as a man.

For those who missed it, here’s what Peterson’s daughter Mikhaila wrote about it at the time, including a screengrab of the “offending” post where he used Page’s birth name:

Wow. @jordanbpeterson got a twitter strike. No more twitter until he deletes the tweet. Definitely not a free speech platform at the moment @elonmusk pic.twitter.com/YuBTwnjz5W

Peterson responded to the suspension by saying that he would rather die than delete the tweet. In his absence, there have been a lot of defenders on Twitter, including Rubin.

Rubin’s Twitter sin Below are screengrabs that include his statement, which lit up the Big Tech giant.

Twitter @TwitterSafety suspended @RubinReport because he reported on Jordan Peterson’s own Twitter suspension. Here’s his statement. Cc @elonmusk pic.twitter.com/qqw8Owjpes

Rubin was booted over Peterson getting shut down. Some paging presumptive future Twitter owner Elon Musk saved it before it was too late.

“Think it through. Jordan Peterson’s suspension due to deadnaming is stupid, but I disagree. She wrote that someone is not allowed tweet about his suspension with any details. You cannot tweet about what he did. This place is run by middle schoolers. Elon Musk should make a comment.

Twitter seems to be totally cool with death threats posted against conservative Supreme Court Justices due to “tolerance” or other reasons.

In case anyone was wondering, threatening to assassinate a Supreme Court Justice doesn’t violate @Twitter rules. But people get suspended for stating scientific facts. pic.twitter.com/DYvWTts8jn

There’s also the Twitter account “Is Clarence Thomas dead?” that posts daily updates about whether Thomas is alive or not.

It is not the first time that Twitter’s suspension lunacy has been called out. In May, Twitter user RB Pundit had his account suspended for noticing in a tweet that he’d been suspended for seven days in the past for saying something not nearly as bad as the failed “Independent” candidate for Congress Steve Cox. He wrote about how “When he [Supreme court Justice Brett Kavanaugh] moves to a hotel with his family, empty his home and burn his sh*t before the hotel,” a post they eventually allowed to stand.

RB’s tweet ended with him suggesting that this was the kind of bias Elon Musk would need to address if and when the sale of Twitter proceeds. RB discovered that his account had been locked for 24 hours.

The Twitter asylum is still run by lunatics. It’s unclear if Musk will be able to bring it back up to the level it was before the woke mobs overtook it. However, I am very curious about this because it seems unlikely that it will improve.
