There was a time when former Fox News host turned independent journalist Megyn Kelly and conservatives didn’t see eye to eye on much, but over the years Kelly has had a wake-up call of sorts on some of the more important issues, with perhaps the most notable being her thoughts on the transgender rights movement.

Recently, Kelly has spoken out on the controversy surrounding transgender “woman” Dylan Mulvaney being heavily promoted by Bud Light as well as the situation in Wyoming regarding a sorority filing a lawsuit over being forced to accept a transgender “female” into the group, with him also reportedly living at the sorority house and allegedly being seen staring at some of the women while obviously, ahem, turned on.

In the below clip, Kelly goes off during her show, telling women and the men who support them to stand up and be heard because if people are silent, “We can kiss women’s rights goodbye.”:

“If we don’t find our voices and start speaking up against this nonsense, we can kiss every woman’s space goodbye! We can kiss women’s rights goodbye. We can kiss sororities goodbye. We can take off our tops and our underwear and do our yoga in front of perverted men who just want to get off watching us til the cows come home. Stick your daughter in the sorority, let ’em at her.

Find your voices, ladies, and the men who support us. Otherwise, this is our future. I’m sorry. I’m done. I’m done. I don’t want to deal with this sh*t at Tri Delta, Kappa Kappa Gamma, in the women’s locker room. You can be supportive of trans people and what they’re going through without surrendering to this madness!”

Watch:

In another, Kelly talks about how she used to try to do what the thought was the right thing by using the preferred pronouns of transgender persons but then realized the words were “gateway drugs” to “the co-opting of female sports and the word female.”

Needless to say, she’s not playing the word games anymore. In further response to the Dylan Mulvaney situation, here’s what she said during a recent show:

“You don’t know the first thing about being a woman. You have no idea what the average woman has been through the course of her life, the challenges we have, the beauty of being a woman, the softness of being a woman. And you never will.

You’re never going to have it, doesn’t matter how many surgeries, doesn’t matter how many hormones, and I am done engaging in this fiction. I’m done! I have empathy, I have compassion, but I am not willing to abandon truth in the name of sparing feelings.”

Watch:

Kelly’s call to action reminded me of comments Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis made this week on woke dogma and the gender identity debate and how we were being called on to abandon truth but should not comply:

But I think there’s also just the issue of are we going to be a society based on truth or we gonna be a society based on deceit? And if you take a man and they dress up as a woman, and you tell me I have to accept that they’re a woman, then you’re asking me to be complicit in a lie, and I just refuse to do that.

So we’ve gotta tell the truth, I think that the truth will set you free, and let’s just be honest about what’s going on here.“

As I’ve said before, women’s rights and transgender rights can only coexist so much, in my opinion. While transgender persons should not be bullied nor treated like second-class citizens and should have the same rights every other American in this country has, the idea that “special rights” should be afforded to them (or any other minority group) is offensive, especially considering the type of special rights being demanded are in direct conflict with many of the rights women have fought for over the last several decades.

One cannot claim to be a passionate defender of women while at the same time participating in calculated campaigns organized by radical special interest groups on the left that marginalize women by suggesting there are no differences between women who were born women and those who merely identify as one.

As I’ve also said before, there are things that need to be stated in no uncertain terms, and more people in this country, especially those in positions of influence and power, need to be willing to stand up and do that without fear of being canceled by the Usual Suspects. Because if more don’t speak out now and reverse the tide, we’re soon going to reach a point where there is no turning back.

Kelly and DeSantis are “failure is not an option” types, especially on this subject, and I am 100% down with that. Say what needs to be said and say it now and say it loud… before it’s too late.
