As we reported earlier, the DNC elected a chairman on Saturday during their winter meeting. Ken Martin, the head of the Minnesota Democrat state party and a good buddy of failed VP candidate Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.
About the only good thing you could say about Martin is that he was not the choice of Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), and Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) — they were backing someone else who lost.

DNC Holds a Wild Candidate Forum, and Republicans May Never Lose Another Election
This is Martin, and the video probably says all you need to know.
The chair candidates had 30 seconds for opening statements, which is ridiculously short. Dr. Quintessa Hathaway expressed herself in song, but did not prevail.
Apparently, a candidates for one of the other party offices didn’t think that she was being treated respectfully, and she scolded the crowd do listen to her; she “[was] speaking.”
But if you really want to see that the Democrats haven’t learned their lesson from the November elections, let’s listen to the outgoing chair Jaime Harrison, who struggled to even explain the rules about “gender balance” in their election process–and what to do if they have a non-binary candidate. Listen to the contortions he has to go through to explain how this is “simple and transparent”:
Harrison explained that if they had a non-binary candidate, the remaining six officers had to be “gender balanced.” He explained that meant they had to pick a woman, a man, and a person of any gender.
How about concentrating on having candidates who are going to address the issues that concern the American people? Or might that be too much to ask?
They showed they were serious (not) with one of their candidates being David Hogg.
He wants you to know he “walk[s] the walk” and “knock[s] the knock.”
I’m now seeing reports that he won one of the vice chair seats, so you know they’re cooked.
But if all that wasn’t serious enough for you, there was also dancing. Because this will certainly cure why they got crushed by the Republicans and rejected by the American people.
Fox’ Business Network’s Charles Payne joked, “I’m actually worried. This looks like the scene right before the cult leader starts passing around the Kool-Aid.”
As some noted after looking at all this, the GOP might never lose again.
