Jim Acosta, who assumed the role of Worst Anchor In America after Keith Olbermann disappeared, announced on far-left CNN Tuesday that he was leaving the fake news network entirely. There had been rumors that the preening peacock with the bad dye job would be moved to midnights. Apparently, he decided instead to go home and take his ego with him.

If there’s a moment that best sums up everything wrong with Jim Acosta, it is this one below from 2018:
During his time at the White House, all Jim Acosta did was manhandle female White House staffers and grandstand. He wasn’t there to gather information for the public. He was there to up his profile in the most cowardly way possible: attack Donald Trump, something that took zero courage.
Jim Acosta is also a shameless liar who manufactured news, invented his own statistics, spread misinformation, and was regularly caught lying about meaningless things, so imagine the effort he put into lying about things that matter.
The only positive thing one can say about Acosta is that he’s a thin-skinned baby and an idiot. Remember when Acosta accidentally made the case for Trump that the border wall works?
As far as the left-wing spin that CNN basically forced Acosta out to appease Trump, no Normal Person believes that. Acosta is terrible for CNN’s brand. He’s a dumber version of Jake Tapper, a more obnoxious version of Brian Stelter, and a fatter version of Erin Burnett. As I have repeatedly said, CNN has no hope of a comeback until it rids itself of its smug, unappealing, and dishonest anchors.
The question now is what does Acosta do next? Well, my hope is that he hooks up with Don Lemon and Jennifer Rubin for a daily podcast called The Dumb, the Homely, and the Peacock.
