State Department Halts Visas for Gaza Residents After Alarming Influx of Families Coming to U.S.

The U.S. Department of State announced Saturday morning that it was stopping a visa program that allowed residents of Gaza to enter the United States for “medical-humanitarian” reasons. This comes after videos of large groups of Gazans—often decked out in “Palestinian” flags and keffiyehs associated with the terror group Hamas—arriving at airports across the nation began popping up on social media in the last few weeks.

According to this State Department tweet, the program is being paused while officials review the “process and procedures” that have allowed a stream of injured children from Gaza, often accompanied by several family members, into the country. Whether or not these families have been properly vetted is anyone’s guess at this point.

The action by the State Department seems to come after online activists flagged the alarming images and videos of Gazan families arriving at U.S. airports that started to pop up on platforms like X and Instagram in recent days. Even more alarming, they are often met at the airport by throngs of what appear to be Hamas supporters, judging by their attire. This seems to be happening at airports in San Francisco, Seattle, Boston, and Washington, D.C.

A little online sleuthing reveals that the vast majority, and possibly all, of the Gazans arriving in the U.S. on these special visas are receiving help from a non-profit called HealPalestine. HealPalestine, which is based out of Ohio, isn’t shy about boasting of their role in bringing swarms of Gazans into cities across the U.S.; they’ve helpfully documented everything on their social media pages.

It all seems to have kicked off in late July, when, according to HealPalestine, 11 children and 26 of their siblings were evacuated from Gaza and brought into Jordan; the evacuation was apparently facilitated by the World Health Organization. Instead of the children and their families remaining in Jordan for treatment, as was agreed to by Jordan’s King Abdullah II when he met with President Trump earlier this year, it appears that HealPalestine somehow arranged for visas to the U.S.

Now-Secretary of State Marco Rubio made the case last year, while still a senator, for why the U.S. should not allow Gazans into the U.S. It comes down to one thing: vetting. It’s almost impossible to do. Here’s what Rubio and some of his fellow senators wrote to the Biden administration:

“U.S. and allied officials have very little access to Gazans living in the area, making it nearly impossible to conduct thorough vetting before admitting them into our country. We must ensure Gazans with terrorist ties or sympathies are denied admission into the United States — no easy feat, given the fact that the Gazans were the ones who voted Hamas into power in 2006,” the Senators charge.

“Without thorough vetting, your administration may inadvertently accept terrorists posing as refugees into the interior. This is especially the case as Hamas terrorists have a long track record of co-mingling with civilian populations in Gaza.”

Americans won’t soon forget the shocking images of Gaza residents defiling the bodies of Israeli citizens on October 7 or jeering Israeli hostages as they were being handed over the International Red Cross. The possibility that the U.S. just welcomed a group of unvetted Gazan citizens onto our soil is deeply concerning.

Is She Joking? Lisa Murkowski Describes a Meeting With President Trump Before Putin AK Summit.

AP Photo/Julia Demaree Nikhinson

Following the great Alaska Summit between American President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, the results of which will not be fully known for some time yet, Alaska’s own senior Senator, Princess Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), appeared on CNN’s “The Lead” opposite Jake Tapper, to describe what happened in a meeting she had with President Trump. The brief meeting took place after Air Force One landed, and also attending were Alaska’s junior Senator Dan Sullivan (R-AK) and Congressman Nick Begich III (R-AK).

Senator Murkowski first jokingly described the Alaska delegation’s request to President Trump to promise not to return any part of Alaska to Russia as part of any peace deal – which, candidly, isn’t that great of a joke, and in any case, President Trump apparently stated bluntly that this won’t happen.

Senator Murkowski said of the meeting:

It was important to just be able to reinforce again the priority, no concessions about Alaska, I joked to the president yesterday, we were certainly hoping that he was not going to be considering returning any portion of Alaska back to Russia. He confirmed that we’re good there.

Well, that’s comforting.

But here’s the statement that jumps out at one:

Jake Tapper:

You joke about not giving back Alaska, which the U.S. bought from Russia in 1867 for a little over $7 million, but you do sit on the Senate Committee for Energy and Natural Resources, and Alaska’s a home not only to fuel, not only to petroleum, but to a variety of rare-earth natural resources. And yesterday, President Trump was asked if he was considering offering any of that for commercial exploration by Russia, as a bargaining chip. He didn’t directly answer. He said rare earth is unimportant compared to saving lives. But that’s not really addressing the question. Would you support this as a bargaining chip?

Were Jake Tapper to ask me that question, my reply would probably be along the lines of “Are you drunk?” But Senator Murkowski took the question seriously:

It was raised in our brief meeting, with the president, about critical minerals, and the president quickly disposed of it and said, “That’s not going to happen.”

Of course, it’s not going to happen, and as President Trump may well have said had Jake Tapper put it to him, “That’s a stupid question.” The president has made domestic development of rare-earth materials and other strategic resources a priority, and he’s not going to bargain away some of it for a peace deal in a war in which the United States isn’t involved.

Trump Summons Zelensky to White House to Discuss Potential Peace Agreement After Historic Putin Summit

Senator Murkowski is not blind to displays of power, though; after noting that Russia and President Putin have been behaving badly in recent years and deserve sanctions, and after questioning the wisdom of bringing President Putin to Alaska, she noted:

I will tell you though, standing there, on the tarmac, as the, as Putin’s plane came in, not on its own but flanked by our fighter jet escort, bringing them into our airspace, and as that plane put down, for them to peel off and then to have the flyover with the B-52 (it was actually a B-2) and the F-22s, right there in the air as Putin is walking below that, it sent a pretty powerful signal.

It did that, and anyone who isn’t blind could see the message being sent – “We can still take you.” As far as President Trump meeting President Putin on the tarmac, that’s an elementary courtesy that would be extended to any leader of a major power.

It’s noteworthy that, of all the media that attended the Alaska Summit, Princess Lisa chose CNN and Jake Tapper to talk to. It’s not surprising, but it is noteworthy.

Virginia Governor Orders Investigation into Allegations School Staff Arranged Students’ Abortions Without Parents’ Knowledge

Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R) announced on Wednesday that he has directed state police to open a criminal investigation into allegations of school-funded abortions in Fairfax County.

Youngkin’s announcement is based on claims from a report that a school social worker at Centreville High School in Union Hill arranged and paid for students’ abortions in 2021, including that of a 17-year-old girl, without parental notification or consent. Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) said after the report was released that it has opened its own investigation into the allegations.

“We learned yesterday of these concerning allegations from 2021,” FCPS told local outlet WJLA last Wednesday. “We are launching an immediate and comprehensive investigation as we take all concerns of student wellbeing very seriously.”

However, Centreville High School teacher Zenaida Perez alleged that she notified school officials seven times since May 2022 about a school social worker allegedly facilitating and paying for a student’s abortion, Fox News reported on Tuesday.

“I am deeply concerned with the allegations that Fairfax County Public Schools officials arranged for minors to get abortions without parental consent and may have misused public funds to pay for them,” Youngkin said in a statement. “I am directing the Virginia State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation to open a full criminal investigation into the matter immediately,” said Governor Glenn Youngkin. “

When reached for comment, FCPS told Breitbart News the district is “prepared to fully cooperate in the state police investigation into these 2021 allegations.”

“As this is an ongoing personnel matter, we are unable to comment further at this time,” FCPS continued. “We remain focused on preparations for the start of the school year – with a focus on academic excellence and opportunity for each and every student in a safe and welcoming environment.”

Virginia state law requires parental consent and notification before a minor can obtain an abortion.

Gavin Newsom Calls Special Election November 4 to Save Democracy by Eliminating Republican Seats

0
Marcio Jose Sanchez / Associated Press

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) announced Thursday that he is calling a special election November 4 to tear up the state’s congressional map in favor of a gerrymandered map to eliminate Republican seats.

Newsom claims that by doing so, he is saving democracy.

The so-called “Election Rigging Response Act” aims to disenfranchise the state’s Republican minority by reducing its U.S. House seats from nine, perhaps to zero.

California’s existing map was created by a nominally “independent” redistricting commission, established by the voters in a constitutional amendment. (Democrats have gamed that system anyway, using groups that purport to represent local communities in the redistricting process, but are actually proxies for the party.) Despite having nearly 40% of the vote, Republicans have only nine of the 52 House seats — about 17%.

Newsom says he is acting because Texas plans to redraw its maps, possibly removing five Democrat seats, after a flawed Census and a U.S. Justice Department finding that the existing map was unconstitutional.

It is unclear whether Newsom has the legal and constitutional authority to tear up the map; Attorney General Rob Bonta said his office had found a “legal pathway,” suggesting he is gabling on a legally dubious loophole.

Newsom is hoping other Democrat-run states will follow. But many, like Illinois, have already gerrymandered their congressional maps to hurt Republicans, and so there are not many Republican seats left to seize.

Republican states, however, have generally been fairer in their district maps, and therefore have many more Democratic seats available to them, should they wish to retaliate, which they almost certainly will do.

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Border Patrol conducted an enforcement action against illegal aliens outside the venue where Newsom and other Democrats had been speaking.

The governor and mayor angrily denounced the enforcement action, saying that it had been a deliberate provocation.

New Report About Teamsters Is Huge Win for GOP, Signaling Trouble for Dems

0
AP Photo/Andrew Harnik

You may recall how the Teamsters President Sean O’Brien spoke at the Republican National Convention (RNC) in 2024. That was a big deal given the history of the Teamsters’ support for the Democrats.

But it’s not surprising, given how the Democrats were treating them. Here’s how O’Brien described their dealings with Kamala Harris in an interview we covered in December.

The Teamsters going to the RNC wasn’t a one-off – it was a sign of how much trouble the Democrats are in with union workers. The Teamsters’ polling in 2024 showed they preferred Trump, for example.

READ MORE: Pure Gold: Teamster Head Reveals to Tucker the Arrogant Things Kamala Did When She Met With Them

Teamsters Members Overwhelmingly Voted to Endorse Trump, But Leadership Wimped Out

Now, according to Politico, they’re “signaling a more permanent realignment by donating to battleground Republicans in the upcoming midterms.”

Their political action committee just donated $5,000 to the National Republican Congressional Committee for the second year. Then, they donated to these battleground Republicans:

  • Rob Bresnahan, Mike Kelly and Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania
  • Pete Stauber and Tom Emmer of Minnesota
  • Nicole Malliotakis, Andrew Garbarino, Nick LaLota and Mike Lawler of New York
  • Jefferson Shreve of Indiana
  • Dave Taylor, Bob Latta, Michael Rulli and Dave Joyce of Ohio
  • Jeff Van Drew and Chris Smith of New Jersey
  • David Rouzer of North Carolina
  • Tom Barrett of Michigan
  • Blake Moore of Utah
  • Darin LaHood and Mike Bost of Illinois
  • Troy Nehls of Texas
  • Vern Buchanan of Florida

They even donated to Republican senators, including Jon Husted (OH) and David McCormick (PA).

In battles that might be tight, where any little bit helps, that could make the difference, not to mention it’s an indication of where the Teamsters’ heads are. That’s an enormous sea-change.

Beyond members of Congress, the Teamsters even donated $50,000 to the Republican Attorneys General Association. It looks like they understand that there’s an issue with how some of the Democrat Attorneys General deal with crime.

These actions by the Teamsters should be a big, flashing sign to the Democrats that they’re losing union workers. While the union is still donating to Democrats, they’ve upped their donations to Republicans, which shows the increase in their members who have grown disillusioned with the Democrats and/or prefer the right.

What has been the Democrats’ response? What have they been doing over the past six months since President Donald Trump came to power? Defending illegal aliens and claiming crime isn’t that bad– not doing anything that would appeal to the American worker. So, they shouldn’t be surprised if the workers are abandoning them for Trump and the Republicans, who are speaking to the issues that they care about. Trump is encouraging business investment and jobs to come back to the U.S.

More Lies: D.C. Quietly Settles With Police Sergeant Who Sued Over Falsified Crime Stats

0
Townhall/Katie Pavlich

We witnessed the Democrat freak-out when President Donald Trump announced he was federalizing the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) after yet another heinous, violent incident—this time the early August savage beating of former DOGE staffer “Big Balls” Edward Coristine as he tried to fend off a carjacking attempt from a mob of teens.

The corrupt mainstream media and the crime-loving progressive Democrats immediately took to every microphone and camera they could find to express their outrage over Trump’s Big Boy move, claiming that crime was way down in the District. As Trump and others pointed out to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Co., if you believe that, try taking a walk around the capital at night and see if you come home in one piece.

Good luck with that.

Of course, as seems to be the case so often these days, the progressive wide-eyed narrative quickly fell apart. Even some journalists admitted they’d been mugged and were scared. Meanwhile, as RedState’s Bonchie reported, a D.C. police commander was recently suspended for falsifying data to improve the city’s crime statistics. Oh.

But it gets worse.

On Thursday, the Washington Free Beacon reported that the District had just settled a lawsuit that described even more fibbing about crime stats:

The District of Columbia has quietly settled a lawsuit from a sergeant who accused Metropolitan Police Department leaders of misclassifying offenses to deflate the district’s crime statistics, court records obtained by the Washington Free Beacon show. Police brass repeatedly told officers to downgrade theft cases, knife attacks, and violent assaults to lesser offenses, according to internal MPD emails, depositions, and phone call transcripts the Free Beacon reviewed.

Her accusations were serious—and yet very believable, considering what we know to be happening versus what they tell us is happening. If you live in a major American city, you know exactly what I’m talking about.

Former MPD sergeant Charlotte Djossou sued the department in 2020, alleging that police leadership punished her for speaking out against the scheme. Djossou, who joined the force after serving honorably in Iraq, accused MPD brass of attempting to “distort crime statistics” by “downgrading a number of felonies to misdemeanors, so that there will be ‘fewer’ felonies in the statistics.” She also provided records showing that police leaders explicitly instructed their subordinates to underclassify certain instances of theft to keep them out of the crime stats the city reports to the public.

The bad news just keeps coming for the left. As our Sister Toldjah reported, despite their protestations, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser and the City Council have long been aware of the crisis.

Statistics obviously can be an extremely useful tool in a variety of applications. However, when they’re manipulated and corrupted to convince you of a distorted reality that is at odds with what you’re witnessing on a daily basis, they become a pernicious method used to warp the political debate. Donald Trump is well aware of this, and is taking crime seriously—something the Democrats have neglected to do for decades as we’ve watched our amazing cities decline into dystopian semblances of their former selves.

The people are catching on, and no amount of falsified data is going to change that reality.

The left’s soft-on-crime policies have wreaked havoc on America.

Exclusive – State Department Restricts Visas of Foreign Officials Tied to Cuban Slave Doctor Programs

0

The U.S. State Department will announce on Wednesday that it had imposed visa restrictions on unnamed government officials from Grenada and several African states, in addition to members of the Cuban Communist Party, in relation to Havana’s longstanding Cuban health worker slavery scheme.

The individuals targeted, the State Department said in its official statement on the sanctions, stand accused of being “complicit” in “the Cuban regime’s medical mission scheme in which medical professionals are ‘rented’ by other countries at high prices and most of the revenue is kept by the Cuban authorities.”

“This scheme enriches the corrupt Cuban regime while depriving the Cuban people of essential medical care,” the State Department noted.

The visa restrictions, which will prevent the officials from entering America, is the fulfillment of a policy Secretary of State Marco Rubio affirmed in February, announcing an expansion of visa restrictions “directed at the linking of forced labor with the Cuban Worker Export Program.” The secretary of state explicitly listed foreign government officials outside of Cuba as eligible for such visa restrictions if they actively aided Cuba in selling doctors and other health workers to their countries as part of the Communist Party’s expansive forced labor scheme. The United Nations recognizes forced labor as one of several forms of modern-day slavery.

“Cuba’s programs to export workers, which include medical missions, enrich the Cuban regime and, in the case of Cuba’s medical missions abroad, deprive common Cuban citizens of the medical care they desperately need in their own country,” Rubio stated at the time. “The United States is dedicated to countering the practice of forced labor around the world.”

Speaking to Breitbart News on Wednesday, a senior State Department official affirmed, “The United States will not remain silent as the criminal Cuban regime unjustly enriches itself through its exploitative and coercive medical labor export scheme.”

“We will continue going after anyone responsible for or involved in the forced labor of Cuban doctors until their passports are not withheld by the regime and their wages are not stolen,” the official concluded.

The Cuban Communist Party has engaged for decades in what it euphemistically calls “international medical cooperation” — sending doctors and other health workers to friendly countries around the world to, according to the regime, fill a void in remote and impoverished areas with minimal access to basic health care. In reality — according to human rights organizations and the testimonies of health workers who escaped — Cuba sells its health workers as slaves who are barely paid to work in dangerous conditions and often weaponized to spread communist propaganda.

Some doctors have testified to “treating” fake patients and fabricating medical records to make the program appear more productive than it is, then destroying medications allegedly issued to the fake patients. Others have described being isolated from local populations and regularly threatened, including threats to family at home in Cuba, to prevent them from defecting. A large volume of evidence suggests that the host countries pay the Cuban government the money that should constitute the doctors’ salaries, only for the regime to pocket the money and give doctors a barely livable “stipend” that also prevents them from escaping.

The Organization of American States (OAS) condemned the Cuban slave doctor scheme as a form of human trafficking in 2019 at a conference organized to address the human rights crisis. The conference followed the revelation of extensive evidence compiled by the non-governmental organization (NGO) Prisoners Defenders and the Patriotic Union of Cuba (UNPACU), the largest pro-democracy organization in Cuba, detailing the scope of the abuses of the program. The report, presented before the OAS, found tens of thousands of Cuban professionals — not limited to doctors, but including professors, engineers, athletes, musicians, and others — being sold out to foreign governments and subjected to “enslavement, persecution, and other inhuman acts.”

“We are talking about 50,000 to 100,000 professionals each year subjected to slavery by Cuba including doctors, but also teachers, intellectual artists, musicians,” Javier Larrondo, the president of Prisoners Defenders, noted at the time. “More than one hundred countries host these Cuban activities.”

Cuban law mandates that any doctor or other regime slave who defects from the “international solidarity” programs is banned from visiting Cuba for eight years. Those who defect and come home may face up to eight years in prison. Many of the doctors and other professionals recruited for the system have children in Cuba that survivors say the regime uses to extort them once abroad.

“In all this time, the Cuban authorities have not found a solution for the thousands of mothers who must split from their children to fulfill an ‘internationalist mission,’” the independent outlet Cubanet reported in April, sharing the stories of five Cuban women trapped in the programs.

“The reason for this is to maintain the family hostage on the island so that the professional is forced to return to Cuba and continue serving the system, says researcher Maria Werlau, executive director of the NGO Archivo Cuba, based in Miami, United States,” it noted.

Doctors have nonetheless defected and publicly testified to the abuses, sacrificing access to their homelands and families and potentially endangering those they love on the island. In 2019, four Cuban doctors spoke to reporters about their experiences at the State Department Foreign Press Center in New York, describing harrowing experiences of enslavement and abuse. The four doctors — Tatiana Carballo, Ramona Matos, Russela Rivero, and Fidel Cruz — worked in Latin America and are leading a lawsuit against the government of Brazil and the Pan-American Health Organization (PAHO) for helping broker their sale as slaves.

“They tell us often in Cuba that education is free, therefore we are their property,” Tatiana Carballo, who served in Belize, Venezuela, and Brazil, recalled at the time. “From the moment we graduate, we receive very, very low salaries, then begin medical missions abroad.”

Fidel Cruz, who worked in Venezuela, recalled that part of his job was to “tell patients about the positive things the Maduro regime was doing and influence the vote” in the country’s sham elections.

“All of us doctors in Venezuela had to give our bosses in state security a report over how many patients we took personally to vote and if they voted for Chávez or Maduro,” he noted.

Ramona Matos, who worked in Bolivia, recalled treating fake patients — fabricating the names of people that did not exist — and destroying the medicine prescribed to the fraudulent patient.

“When we arrived in Bolivia, as we were doing immigration, there was a state security agent there to take away our passports,” she said. “We were working in Bolivia undocumented; we had no document with our name on it, no passport, no piece of paper with our name on it.”

Cuban slave doctors are forced to work throughout Africa, including dangerous territories overrun by criminal gangs. In countries such as South Africa and Kenya, the program has attracted the outrage of local medical professionals, who have complained that the government has replaced them with Cuban slaves to avoid paying livable wages.

“Kenya has 1,000 doctors who are not employed. They have waited for deployment since May 2017. There are additional specialists who have been waiting for deployment to counties. Is there room for these Drs in Kenya?” Ouma Oluga, the secretary-general of the Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists’ Union (KMPDU), said in 2018, responding to the announcement of the country importing 100 Cuban doctors.

The next year, two Cuban doctors, surgeon Landy Rodríguez Hernández and general practitioner Assel Herrera Correa, disappeared from Mandera, Kenya, after the jihadist terror organization Al Shabaab attacked their transport vehicle on the way to the Mandera Hospital. The terrorists demanded a $1.5 million ransom, but neither Kenya nor Cuba acted to save them. Al Shabaab claimed that a U.S. drone strike killed the doctors in 2024, a claim that was never confirmed by any reputable party.

Reducing the scope of the Cuban slave doctor program has become a priority for the State Department during the second term of President Donald Trump. In addition to the sanctions, Secretary of State Marco Rubio condemned the program during a press conference in Jamaica with Prime Minister Andrew Holness, whose country purchases the slaves.

“The doctors are not paid. In many other parts of the world, the doctors are not paid,” Rubio explained. “The doctor — you pay the Cuban Government; the Cuban Government decides how much, if anything, to give them; they take away their passports; they basically operate as forced labor in many places.”

Rubio, who is Cuban-American, added, “It’s not that they’re Cuban doctors, it’s that the regime does not pay these doctors, takes away their passports, and basically it is in many ways forced labor. And that we cannot be in support of.”

Holness denied exploiting Cuban health workers despite importing them to address Jamaica’s health worker shortages.

President Trump: Democrats ‘Are Led by Insane People’

0
White House Photo by Joyce N. Boghosian

President Donald Trump said it is a “waste of time” to work with Democrats on Capitol Hill and that the Democrat Party is “led by insane people,” while speaking with reporters on Wednesday.

Trump blasted Democrat lawmakers when a reporter asked if he intends to meet with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) to discuss the government funding deadline.

“Well, I will, I guess, but it’s almost a waste of time to meet because they never approve anything,” Trump said. “If we want money to fight crime, if we want money to do–only good things, just good things, let’s not even talk about controversial–they don’t want to meet about anything.”

“They’re stuck. They don’t know what to do… I would say more than half are sane, but they are led by insane people,” he added.

As Trump pointed out, Democrats are in extremely poor standing with the American people. In a CNBC poll conducted from July 29 to August 3 among 1,000 U.S. adults, just 24 percent had a favorable view of the party, versus 56 percent who had a negative outlook on Democrats. This -32 net approval is the lowest for either party in CNBC polling since 1996. The poll has a margin of error of ±3.1 percent.

Moreover, Democrats hold an average favorability rating of 34.1 percent in RealClearPolling’s current aggregate, and an unfavorability rating of 59.4 percent.

The 24 percent approval rating in the CNBC poll aligns with months of trends in favorability of Democrats. It marks an even worse number than the horrendous 29 percent favorability rating for the party in a March CNN/SSRS poll.

In an exclusive interview at the time, Trump told Breitbart News that the Democratic Party “broke” itself.

“The Democrat Party broke themselves, and they’re continuing to do so,” Trump said before pointing to issues like men in women’s sports as one example of how bad policy is tormenting the party. “These aren’t 90-10,  these are 95-5, and I don’t know who the 5 are,” Trump said.

JD Vance Celebrates American Troops Abroad in UK Visit: ‘You Guys Are The Reason…’

Vice President JD Vance visited American troops in the United Kingdom on Thursday at Royal Air Force Base (RAF) Fairford, where he celebrated that they’re the reason President Donald Trump and his team are having successful negotiations with leaders around the world.

Speaking to airmen from the U.S. Air Force’s 501st Combat Support Wing and the 99th Expeditionary Reconnaissance Squadron, Vance talked about the successful alliance between the U.S. and Britain throughout the last century.

“So I want to say for all of us back home in the United States, for all the people that you serve with, that you fight for, that you make it possible to live the American dream and peace and prosperity, We are proud of ya,” Vance said. “We are grateful for you. And as your vice president, I am damn proud to be with you today. God bless every single one of you.”

Vance then noted that the administration wants to end the war between Russia and Ukraine, and thanks to the brave men and women in the room and at bases around the world, they are making it possible to achieve that goal.

“So what you guys do, even though you may not see it every single day, is you make it possible, you make it possible to accomplish the president’s goals through negotiations,” Vance said. “You make it possible for us to go into a room and say, ‘Yes, we want peace. Yes, we want to work together. Yes, we’d like to bring an end to this terrible conflict.’”

“‘But we’ve also got some great airmen back at Fairford and other bases that are going to make sure no matter what happens, the peace and the prosperity and the goals of the American people are going to be well served by what you do,’” he added. “You guys make that possible.”

“You guys are the reason why we can go into a negotiation with strength…Nothing that we do as an administration is possible without the hard work, the courage, and the skill that you guys bring to the job,” Vance continued.

In closing, the vice president said the “U.S. military is the envy of the world thanks to the brave men and women who make up our Armed Forces.”

“And that fact, the fact that so many people are impressed by you, the fact that so many people are frankly, afraid of you, is why we are able to do what we do as an administration,” Vance said. “So I just want to say from the President of the United States, we are proud of you. “

“We are grateful to ya,” he added. “We know that it’s not always an easy job. We know there are often long hours, but I hope you know that the peace and the prosperity and the safety of your countrymen depend on you doing a good job. And we are damn proud of the job that you do every single day.”

During Vance’s speech and visit, he was treated like a rock star with loud cheers and applause from those in attendance.

In videos and pictures that have since surfaced on X from the day’s events, Vance shook hands with the troops and greeted military family members.

An X post from Getty Images News read, “U.S. VP JD Vance addresses U.S. troops and their families in front of a Lockheed U-2 nicknamed the ‘Dragon Lady’, during a visit to RAF Fairford, England. The visit comes as Vance and his family spent part of their vacation in nearby Chipping Norton in the Cotswolds: Leon Neal.”

At one point, the VP handed out McDonald’s.

Vance’s trip to the UK comes just days ahead of Trump’s highly anticipated meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, where President Trump plans to address an end the Ukraine-Russia war, as RedState reported.

The ability of Democrats to lie with abandon and not spontaneously combust into flames or melt like the Wicked Witch is impressive. They seem to have perfected it into an art form.

Democrat Congressman Max Frost recently went on CNN. He then posted an X video of his appearance and a “discussion” with Scott Jennings. He didn’t post the appearance, he posted an edited version – with more jump-cuts than a Joe Biden “make-my-day-pal” challenge to debate Donald Trump.

I won’t bother to look for or watch the unedited version, although I am confident that Jennings destroyed him. Frost didn’t make a fact-based argument about crime. He made an emotional plea about guns. Frost doesn’t mention that the type of guns used in street crime in Washington D.C. are almost entirely handguns. Washington D.C., is a “gun-free” zone. Apparently, criminals are ignoring that law as well as the law they are breaking with the gun. I posted the Frost X video because Frost does what Democrats do – they don’t bother to make an argument, backed with facts, they defect and flat-out lie.

At the top of the food chain of liars is Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer. Now that Trump is pushing to make D.C. safe, Schumer has hit the stump to lie. This time, it’s not on the floor of the Senate. It was on a podcast.

I saw the clip on Fox News. The discussion about D.C. crime starts at 3:30:

Host: Are you scared walking around Washington D.C.?

No, I walk around all the time. I get up early in the morning, sometimes, I take a nice walk, if the sun is rising around the Capitol and other monuments and things, I feel perfectly safe – look here is what they’ve done Aaron, plain and simple, Donald Trump wants to distract, its been his game plan its been his M.O., during his first term in the presidency and now… its a distraction! A lot of things, but above all it’s  EPSTEIN!…

Good Lord. They won’t let go of that dead horse.

There’s more to the Marcia! Marcia! Marcia! harangue, but all I could hear was Charlie Brown’s mom.

Brian Kilmeade was filling in for Laura Ingram, and the D.C. crime story was the A block. Schumer’s gaslighting appearance was the lead. Kilmeade had Oklahoma Senator Markwayne Mullin on as the guest. Mullin was asked about Schumer’s claim

Mullin said that there was “less than zero” chance that Schumer would walk anywhere, other than to the door of his limo. He pointed out that Schumer doesn’t walk anywhere by himself. Why? Schumer is a leader in the Senate. He has multiple armed Capitol Police as his protection detail, 24/7.

Mullin pointed out that Trump campaigned on making D.C. safe and mentioned that “20 times” before he became president.

Later in the block, Horace Cooper of Project 21 was a guest. While discussing the rampant crime in D.C., Cooper mentioned that it is safer in Baghdad than Washington D.C., Kilmeade looked down at his phone and paraphrased a text message from a member of Schumer’s security detail. The officer said, Schumer’s security is with the Senator all day long. He likely doesn’t go to the bathroom without his detail.

Gaslighting is an overused term, but it fits Schumer like a glove.
