Supreme Court Doesn’t Rule in Case That Could Overturn Roe v. Wade

0

Monday’s ruling by the Supreme Court in Dobbs, v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, was not issued. This prolongs for at least one week the waiting period for its opinion. It is expected that it will overturn the right to abortion.

Politico published a draft opinion last month that suggested the Supreme Court was set to repeal Roe v. Wade. This 1973 case established a federal right to an abortion.

Dobbs wasn’t among the cases that were released Monday by the justices. The court’s current term is now just over a month. Dobbs will be ruled in late June or early July.

Monday’s court rulings were in three cases. The court ruled Monday in three cases. One was a bankruptcy case involving Circuit City’s trustee, the other was a Florida-based Medicaid case and the third was a labor dispute involving Southwest Airlines. A worker wanted to sue Southwest Airlines for allegedly not paying overtime wages and instead of going to arbitration.

The Dobbs case results from a dispute about a Mississippi law that bans abortion after 15 weeks. The case was heard in December and is seen as the most important test for the new 6-3 Republican-appointed court majority – which will be capped by the confirmation of Justice Amy Coney Barrett in 2020 – on how they will handle controversial issues.

The Supreme Court is continuing to resolve Dobbs and other cases before the summer recess. Court officials are currently investigating who leaked the draft opinion.

“To the extent that this betrayal by the Court of the confidences was intended to undermine our operations’ integrity, it will fail.” Chief Justice John Roberts stated in a statement in May that the Court’s work would not be affected.

He said, “This was an extraordinary and egregious violation of that trust that is an affront to both the Court and the community that works here of public servants,” he continued. “I have instructed the Marshal to the Court to investigate the source of this leak.”

According to Fox News, the probe has intensified over recent days. A source who is familiar with the matter confirmed this to Fox News last week. Officials were in the process of asking law clerks to turn over personal cellphone records and to sign affidavits. The exact scope and extent of the information sought by the clerks were not clear. It is also unclear whether compliance has been achieved, or whether certain clerks will refuse to comply and seek legal representation.

More Than A Dozen Mass Shootings Over the Weekend Leave At Least 17 Dead Across Country

0

From Friday night through Sunday night, more than a dozen mass shootings erupted in communities across the country. Several were fatal and many were injured.

We looked at data from the Gun Violence Archive and found that there were 13 mass shootings between Friday night and Sunday. Mass shootings are defined by the Gun Violence Archive as those where at least four people are killed or shot, but not the shooter.

According to the database, at least 69 people were hurt and 17 died. GVA data shows that there have been 246 mass shooters so far this year. This matches the number of mass shootings in the same time period last year.

Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney stated in a Sunday statement that “once again, we see lives being lost and people hurt in yet another horrendous and brazen act of gun violence.”

Three people were killed and eleven others injured in a shooting on Philadelphia’s South Street. It was one of the worst mass shootings that occurred over the weekend. Police believe that gunfire broke out after the victim and another man got into an altercation.

The victims were aged between 17 and 69.

Three people were killed and fourteen others were injured in a shooting that occurred at a Chattanooga nightclub on Sunday morning. Authorities believe that “multiple shooters”, who opened fire on the victims, left two dead from gunshot wounds and one victim killed after being struck by a car while fleeing, opened fire.

A shooting occurred at a Phoenix strip mall on Saturday, leaving a 14-year-old girl dead and eight other people injured. The incident was caused by a fight between two groups at a party.

Police said that many rounds were fired into the crowd as they fled the area.

One woman was killed and seven others were injured in a shooting incident at a South Carolina high school graduation party on Saturday.

According to GVA data, the other shootings took place in New York and Georgia, Texas, Nebraska, and Virginia. There were also three mass shootings that occurred in Michigan, as well as another one in Arizona.

We previously examined data that shows an increase in violent crime in 2020 compared to years past. According to GVA data, 2020 saw an increase in mass shootings by 46% over 2019. There were 417 mass shootings in 2019 and 611 in 2020.

FBI data shows a 30% increase in murders in 2020 compared to 2019, but FBI data does not show this. The FBI data on 2020 murders shows a nearly 30% increase in murders compared to 2019. However, Black Americans saw a 32% increase in murders in 2020 compared with 2019. Data show that there was a 43% increase in Black murders in 2020, compared to the 10-year average.

These shootings follow several other recent high-profile, devastating mass shootings. On May 24, 19 children and 2 adults were killed in a school shooting in Uvalde Texas. A shooting at a Buffalo grocery shop on May 14 left 10 people dead and three more injured.

Migrant in Potentially the Largest Caravan Ever Demands Biden Keep Asylum Promise

0

One Haitian migrant who is participating in the largest ever migrant caravan from Mexico to the U.S. demands that President Biden honor his promise to let them stay once they cross the border.

Fox News interviewed the migrants on Friday to say that he had promised Haitian communities he would help them. He will remember Title 42. He will assist us in obtaining real asylum.

This migrant is part of a caravan that could be the largest to ever reach the U.S. border. The current number of migrants is close to 10,000. It is expected to grow to 15,000 before it reaches its destination.

On Monday, the caravan left Tapachula at the Mexico-Guatemala border. Most migrants are from Venezuela, Cuba, and Nicaragua. They will follow the coastal route to the U.S. border.

Luis Villagran, the organizer of the caravan, stated Monday that they estimate we are approximately 9,500. It measures 51/2km from the beginning to the end. People keep joining.

As the Biden administration fights to end Title 42, a Trump-era rule allowing the U.S. not to have to go through the usual legal process to expel asylum seekers, the migrant’s comments are timely. This policy was put in place early in the COVID-19 epidemic to prevent the virus from spreading. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced earlier this year that they would lift the order.

A lawsuit was filed by 24 states to temporarily stop plans to end this rule. A Louisiana U.S. district judge ruled that the restrictions could remain in place until the case is resolved. According to the states, lifting the rule could lead to “waves of illegal migration and drug trafficking.”

Critics blame the president for creating the crisis at the southern border. They argue that Biden’s reversed Trump-era immigration policies created an incentive for migrants and refugees to travel through Mexico to reach the U.S. border.

The White House has found it politically difficult to deal with the crisis, which may have led to Biden changing his tune regarding migrants seeking refuge in the U.S.

Biden stated, “Don’t leave the community, city or town you live in,” during an interview with ABC last January. “We’re going to make sure that we have facilities and access with HHS in those cities and towns managed by DHS and other departments of — by DHS so you can apply right from your current location for asylum.”

However, the administration’s efforts to repeal Title 42 have sent a message to the caravan of migrants who are asking Biden to let them in the country.

“Now, we need him to keep his promise.” The Haitian migrant stated.

Dem Sen. Insists Biden Not Get Involved With Bipartisan Gun Negotiations

0

U.S Sen. Chris Murphy, a Connecticut Democrat, insists that the lawmakers negotiate the deal themselves when asked by CNN’s “State of the Union”, if Biden would help.

After several mass shootings, both Republicans and Democrats have been discussing possible changes in gun laws. This includes the attack on an elementary school in Uvalde in Texas that killed 19 children and their teachers.

Murphy said that the bipartisan negotiations were the most serious he has ever been involved in. He stated, “There are more republicans sitting at the table discussing changing our gun laws, and investing in mental healthcare than at any point since Sandy Hook,” which was when a gunman shot dead 20 children and six adults at an elementary schools in 2012.

Murphy stated that Sen. John Cornyn, a Republican from Texas, is working on the bill. He said that he has spoken about reviewing how juvenile records are accessed by young men between 18 and 21 to ensure those who have had problems with the law in the past are not able to obtain a weapon.

Murphy stated that he was not certain that any gun legislation will be put to a vote in the Senate this week. However, he said that he believed lawmakers should have ideas to present to their peers over the next week.

Murphy stated that, despite the promises of bipartisan gun reforms, he has been involved in many failed negotiations in his past and that he is still “sober-minded” about our chances.

Multiple Migrants Rescued In Desert Regions Along Southwest Border

0

Multiple sectors of Border Patrol agents rescued migrants from desert areas along the southwest border with Mexico.

Gregory K. Bovino, El Centro Sector Chief Patrol Agent, tweeted a photo showing a migrant woman who was rescued by BORSTAR agents in the Jacumba Wilderness area in Southern California.

Tucson Sector Chief Patrol Agent John R. Modlin posted photos of a rescue operation for a migrant. Agents from Tucson Station found the Guatemalan migrant hidden in the Baboquivari mountains. To rescue the migrant, the agents joined forces with an Arizona Department of Public Safety helicopter crew.

According to Gloria I. Chavez, El Paso Sector Chief Patrol Agent Gloria I. Chavez’s tweet, El Paso Sector agents received an emergency call from a father and his daughter about their severe dehydration in the New Mexico desert. Agents treated the father and his daughter and then moved them to safety.

Agents in three different sectors saved four people from dangerous situations in the desert areas near Mexico’s border.

Wall Street Journal Slams Media For Heaping Credibility On Anti-DeSantis Whistleblower

Friday’s Wall Street Journal editorial board attacked Rebekah Jones, an ex-state department employee who claimed she was fired for refusing to alter COVID-19 data in Florida.

Jones claimed Jones was fired in 2020 from her position in the health department for refusing to comply with pressure to manipulate COVID-19 figures. An Inspector General Michael J. Bennett determined that Jones’ claims were false.

Bennett’s report stated, “Based upon an analysis of all evidence, the alleged misconduct as described by her complaint didn’t occur.” Bennett’s office claimed that Bennett was fired because of her insubordination. ”

The editorial boards noted several headlines that were consistent with the claims of the whistleblower. NPR’s “Florida Dismisses Scientist for Her Refusal To Manipulate State’s Coronavirus Data” was one example.

In 2021, Cosmopolitan published a glowing profile about Jones. The headline was “Rebekah Jones Tried to Warn Us About COVID-19.” Her freedom is now at risk ”

“Now, Mr. DeSantis has been exonerated by the Florida Department of Health Office of Inspection General. The IG interviewed more than a dozen people who had worked with state Covid information. Ms. Jones’ supervisors were also interviewed by the editorial board. They said that they could not confirm her claims.

Also published was an editorial by the Miami Herald titled “Rebekah’s win as whistleblower against Florida’s DeSantis government may be a winfor us all.” This article was heavily criticized.

The report states that “if the complainant, or any other DOH staff, falsified COVID-19 data on the dashboard,” the dashboard wouldn’t have matched the data in the final daily reports.

The Department of Health stated that the “differences in the data” would be detected by not only the Department of Health staff, but also local governments, researchers, and the media/media. ”

“Unfortunately many Americans distrust media because too many reports are driven partisan narratives. The editorial board stated they wish they were wrong.

Jones appeared on CNN several times during the 2020 pandemic. Chris Cuomo hosted the primetime program.

Lutheran Church Charities and Other Compassion Organizations Prove DOG Is GOD Spelled Backward in Uvalde

0

Jesus spoke in his Sermon On the Mount in a series of statements that are commonly called “The Beatitudes”.

“Blessed are the mourners, for they’ll be comforted.”

The community now has space to grieve, as the majority of Uvalde’s narrative-seeking journalists and camera lights have moved on. They are not alone, and they have the support of our four-legged treasures.

From The Oklahoman:

After a shooting at an elementary school in Texas that left 19 children dead and two teachers wounded, a Kingfisher Lutheran Church sent a dog ministry and a team of crisis responders to Uvalde, Texas.

Emmanuel Lutheran Church is a Kingfisher affiliate of Lutheran Church Charities. It sent a team to Uvalde Tuesday as part of its wider outreach efforts with K-9 Comfort Dog Ministries.

Miriam, a golden retriever who has been trained for psychological comfort since she was eight weeks old, is the heart of that Kingfisher team. She had to go through 2,000 hours of training before she could be used to help people in crisis. Keith Leimbach, Denise Jech and J. Juan Jech are the other K-9 Comfort handlers. Susan Post is also a member of this team.

“It’s really rewarding and challenging for our handlers, to be in the middle of people who have lost loved ones, it’s really rewarding, but difficult work,” Deb Baran, director, of communications and media relations at Lutheran Church Charities, said. “I got the word from our coordinator that one member of our team was speaking with someone who was confronted with the shooter, and they survived. Although it’s very difficult and emotionally charged, the work is essential.”

Not just Kingfisher, Oklahoma but also the entire network of Lutheran Church Ministries. K-9 Comfort ministry was deployed to Uvalde by Lutheran churches from Texas including Austin, Houston, and Plano. Additional canine support groups and ministries were also deployed with their K-9 compassionate units.

USA TODAY reported on one in San Antonio

Fox 35 also reported on an Orlando organization for Golden Retrievers.

These dogs undergo 2,000 hours of training. This can take anywhere from one year to one year and a half. They are not paid by the Lutheran Church Charities K-9 Comfort ministry and Hearts of Mercy and Compassion ministry. Their role is to proclaim Jesus Christ’s mercy, compassion, presence, and proclamation to all who are in need.

Tim Hetzner, CEO and president of Lutheran Church Charities, said:

“We are aware that comfort is necessary to help this devastated community and the first responders who provide it with assistance.”

All the Lutheran comfort ministries in the different cities and states created 21 crosses to honor the 19 children and teachers who had lost their lives. Each victim’s name was written by the teams. A Bible verse was also added to the crosses. People walked around the square looking for names of loved ones or victims they knew. The team members were present in the background, allowing the people to interact with the crosses and then the dogs. Many people in Uvalde were helped to open up by the kindness and presence of K-9 comforters. The team members were able to listen to their stories and cry with them. They also offered prayers and support.

Blessed are those who mourn…

School Districts Receiving Training on How to Conceal Gender Identity From Parents of Special Needs Children

0

These stories are just when you think they can’t get any lower. Gender LCGB runs a Substack reporting program that tracks schools in different southern California districts that are incorporating progressive ideology on race and gender identity into K-12 classrooms.

In my piece, I described how Ventura County public school teachers were receiving training from an attorney firm about how to make sure that parents of children with gender dysphoria aren’t informed about their children’s issues. Gender LCGB now has more disturbing details about this story.

This law firm presented multiple webinars of its webinar, titled “My name is…a legal and practical framework for affirming students’ Identities in their Records, and in the School Setting.” According to the report, Fagen Friedman, & Fulfrost LLP LLP (F3) was helping teachers to “teach gender ideology interventions – behavioral, social, and ideology indoctrination – without notifying parents.”

The webinar was not limited to average students. The presentation also addressed students with special needs. This brings up many other issues.

A child must have a disability to be eligible for special education services in California. This includes autism, Down syndrome, or deafblindness. Teachers were reminded by the presentation that California’s School Success and Opportunity Act, (AB 1266), allows teachers to hide information about a student’s gender identity from parents. Schools are also permitted to incorporate progressive gender ideology into the classroom without parental consent. This is the policy:

It is vital that students are protected from any kind of discrimination. California’s anti-discrimination laws, as well as federal laws and state laws, provide protection for transgender students. The California anti-discrimination laws may prohibit students from disclosing their transgender status without permission. This could increase student vulnerability to harassment and violate the student’s right to privacy.

Schools are required to allow students to use locker rooms and bathrooms that correspond to their gender identity under the new legislation.

According to Gender LCGB, the F3 company presented at least four times at educational events and workshops. This presentation contains “best practices” that teachers can use to facilitate gender transitions. It also includes lessons and tips for parents.

California’s policy on informing parents appears to also apply to students with special needs. The following is taken from the report:

Concerned parents contacted Foothill SELPA to inquire if their children with Individualized Education Plans (4 IEP)4 and Gender Support Plans had the right to keep their gender identity secret from their parents.

Deb Rinder, executive director of Foothill Special Education Local Plan Area, (SELPA), replied that “gender planning is not part of [Individualized Education Plans]” and that it should be kept confidential and separate.

The parent then asked Rinder if she knew of any criteria that the state had in place to prevent students from disclosing their gender identity to parents. Rinder replied that she wasn’t aware of any criteria in the SELPA and the STATE.

District employees won’t inform parents if their child is unable to make decisions about gender identity. This presentation shows a variety of scenarios in which a student might have a disability that might be related to gender dysphoria. Transgender students might be eligible for special education.

The presentation presents a hypothetical situation where a child with a Specific Learning Disability, (SLD), is having difficulty identifying their gender. It discusses how special education services might be needed for this child. The PowerPoint slide asks, “Did the student need counseling related to their gender identity and social-emotional functioning?” Does it have an educational impact on the student?

This section is especially problematic as the school could refer the child for psychological counseling services via special education. The counselors would likely recommend that the student transition to another gender. The report explains that a child aged 12 or over may consent to outpatient mental healthcare services without parental knowledge or consent. It’s not hard to see how this could go wrong.

California law does not allow transgender people or those with a gender different identity to be considered special needs. They could however suggest that gender dysphoria or the society’s reaction to someone who is transgender might lead to certain disabilities or cause an emotional disturbance to ensure that the child qualifies to receive a special education designation. This could mean that the student if they are 12 years old or older, can be sent to a psychologist for a discussion about their gender identity.

One of the most concerning aspects of this story is its potential impact on children with autism and other conditions. These children are very suggestible and susceptible to adopting another gender identity. One slide states that people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), are “7.59x more likely to express gender variation than the control group.”

This study was done before the push for gender ideologies in K-12 classrooms. The report notes:

This slide does not reveal the consequences of this higher gender variance expression. Are ASD youth who have expressed gender variance tend to resign later or ask for a transition to the other gender? These children should now be encouraged to socially and possibly medically transition, according to the current guidelines of organizations such as the World Professional Association for Transgender Health and GLSEN.

The author points out that ASD youth are 7.59x more likely to display gender variance than their peers. Adults should be cautious when speaking to them about such topics. The slide and the ones that follow recommend that ASD youth be assisted in transitioning since they “cannot copy behaviors well.”

There has not been much discussion about how the left’s attempts to indoctrinate, groom, and educate children in schools could affect students with special needs. California is a case in point. Teachers are not required to inform parents about the gender identity of their children. Many parents are unaware that this could be happening in other school districts. It will continue until there’s enough resistance.

French Open Protester Ties Herself to Net During Men’s Semifinal

0

Doomsday prophecies warning of “the end being near” were rare in the past and rarely occurred, but now they’re cutting-edge climate activists. On Friday, during the third set at the French Open tennis tournament as Norway’s Casper Ruud led Croatia’s Marin Cilic 4-1, the match was interrupted for fifteen minutes. Just as Ruud was about to serve, he instead watched incredulously as a “climate activist,” that is, a brainwashed lunatic, ran onto the court and tied herself by the neck to the net, to save the planet or something.

A few days before, another “climate activist”, at Paris’s Louvre, jumped from a chair to try to break the bulletproof glass that protected Leonardo da Vinci’s, Mona Lisa. Instead of trying to break it with a gun, he decided to decorate the glass with cake.

At the French Open, a protester was seen sitting in a stone-faced spot at a net. Tennis players went back to their dressing rooms until things returned to normal.

Protester interrupts Casper Ruud vs Marin Cilic #FrenchOpen tennis semifinal

“We have 1028 days left” — a climate change protest referring to the last IPCC report#RolandGarros #ATP pic.twitter.com/HnEuw9Kw8p

— Ultra Alex (@AlexChecked) June 4, 2022

The woman was wearing a white T-shirt with the English handwritten message “We Have 1028 Days Left” printed on it. As this happened on Friday, June 3, that would mean that the death of the world from global warming is set for Thursday, March 27, 2025, and I don’t mind telling you, I feel gypped. After all, it was in January 2019 that millennial sage Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-Ditzville) told us that the world would end in twelve years, which would give us a good eight and a half more years. But it’s less than three years until March 2025; how did our time get cut?

Science seems to be getting more dire and apocalyptic. The Washington Post reported on May 20th that the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change had stated that global emissions must peak by 2025 in order to avoid devastating consequences.

The Washington Post admitted that scientists are being driven insane by all of this hysteria. Climate hysteria stems mainly from the reckless propagation of pseudoscientific fallacies. But, “activists”, such as the French Open girl, dismiss anyone who tries to convince her she is insane and call them “right-wing nuts”. They also know that their heroes will be able to move inland in the face of floodwaters.

French Tennis Federation Laconically stated that “the young French woman of French citizenship entered these grounds with an earlier morning’s ticket.” According to Laconically, French Tennis Federation, “The young French woman of French citizenship entered the grounds with an earlier morning ticket.”

But it likely will again, if not to Casper Ruud, then to someone else — maybe Mona Lisa. After all, we have only 1,028 days left — make that 1,027 now — and look how many internal combustion engines there are still destroying the planet! The time to return to the stone age is drawing so perilously short. And so is the time to save an entire generation from this hysterical and groundless climate lunacy.

Texas Dem Rep. Cuellar Increases Lead Against Justice Democrat-Backed Candidate Who May Seek Recount

0

Republican Henry Cuellar (D.Texas), is currently 281 votes behind his Democratic primary opponent. Every vote counts when it comes to the fight for the nominations for the House.

In a close runoff election, Cuellar was up against Jessica Cisneros (a Justice Democrats-endorsed candidate). As the votes were added, Cuellar’s lead increased.

Cuellar stated that “As I stated election night, it would hold — and has held and grown.”

“I won this election with every vote from all nine counties in the 28th District. ”

Although Cuellar’s race has not been called by the Associated Press yet, all counties have submitted their results. Cisneros will be able to request a recount until Wednesday if she provides the funds. Since this week, however, Democrats have been raising funds to finance a “recount” account for Cisneros.

Cuellar led Cisneros by 177 votes in the primary election on May 24, but he was confident that the margin would stay.

Cisneros said that the election was still too close for call and that every vote and ballot must be counted.

Cisneros stated at the time that “This fight isn’t over.”

Cuellar, a Congressman from 2005 to 2007, congratulated Cisneros on “a hard-fought fight.”

Cuellar said, “From the time she was an intern in my office, she had potential, and a bright future ahead of her. Cuellar had been previously challenged by Cisneros. Cuellar, despite having the support of Nancy Pelosi (House Speaker) and many of the Democratic leadership, lost the Texas primary in 2020.

Cuellar criticized outside interests for supporting progressive Cisneros campaigns in an interview.

“She raised more money than I did, and I’m one of the most successful fundraisers here in Washington”. Cuellar said that this wouldn’t have been possible in normal circumstances. He also noted that 91% of Cisneros’s financial assistance was from outside Texas.

Radical Special Interest Groups spent more than $10,000,000 to push their New York-based values onto Texans during the past two elections. Cuellar stated that voters stopped them.

Cuellar is one of the House’s most pro-life Democrats. He has been critical of the Biden administration’s handling of the South Border crisis and the rising inflation. Cuellar, one of the House’s last pro-life Democrats, has criticized Biden’s handling of the south border crisis and rising inflation. He also promised to fight for more oil and gas jobs and lower taxes and higher costs for health care.

Cisneros ran for a platform for progressive politics and promoted a pro-union message.

“It took my being in Congressman Cuellar’s office to discover that he wasn’t anti-labor, to find out he’s pro-choice, and to discover that he had had lobbyist after lobbyist through his office and never hosted any families like mine in Washington D.C. He even admitted to me that he was an anti-immigrant,” Cisneros said at a campaign stop with Senator Bernie Sanders, I.Vt.

A leaked Supreme Court opinion indicated that Roe V. Wade might have been overruled. This led to increased attention on the race between Cisneros, and Cuellar. This would allow abortion access not to be protected by the judiciary but to be maintained by the state legislatures.

However, Cisneros’s message appears to have reached many Democrats from Cuellar’s District despite a narrow margin (just a few hundred votes).

Cuellar stated that urban Democrats are distinct from rural Democrats. He said that Cisneros’s positions regarding immigration, which are against natural gas and oil, as well as on cutting the budgets for police, alienated many border residents.

Six counties located closest to Cuellar’s border voted for him in the runoff. Cisneros was favored by San Antonio Democrats.

Cuellar said that liberal Democrats are more likely to live in areas where abortion is more common.

We only brought up the fact that she was for open borders, and for defunding police. He stated that South Texas border residents knew that this was unacceptable.

Cuellar will face Cisneros, or Cuellar if she asks for and wins a recount. This is as the GOP seeks to regain control of the House majority. Cuellar believes voters will balance issues such as abortion and gun control with other issues.

“Jobs still count, but gun control will be an issue for some,” Cuellar said that there are other issues, such as water and border security.
