Sunny Hostin, co-host of “The View”, rejected being called racist by social media during Monday’s episode. She called out racism and stated that it was being used as a political wedge topic.

During a discussion on Senator Tommy Tuberville’s (R-Ala.) remarks at a Trump rally, he stated that Democrats were “procrime” and that they wanted reparations “because they believe the people who did the crime are owed this.”

Hostin said that people will “call you racist” if the topic of reparations comes up.

Hostin called Nikki Haley, former Ambassador to the United Nations, a “chameleon” because she didn’t go by her real name. Hostin, who is actually Asuncion, stated that Americans cannot pronounce Asuncion due to the lack of education in their country.

She was also criticized for her attack on Black Republicans, claiming they were an “oxymoron”.

Ben Carson, former Housing and Urban Development secretary, responded to Hostin’s claims and said to Fox News Digital in May, that “the impudent behaviour to tell others what they should think, feel and live is a relic from Jim Crow and disgusting.”

Hostin also attacked Latino Republicans for voting against their self-interest.
