As President Donald Trump rolls out the agenda he campaigned on, like mass deportations and tariffs, the left loves to think they are playing gotcha with Trump voters when they snarkily ask, “Is this what you voted for?” Well…yes. This is exactly what we voted for, and we hope he keeps going. Thanks for asking. This usually causes more smoke to erupt from lefty ears, but Americans absolutely voted for Donald Trump to clean up the mess left by Joe Biden. As agencies like the Department of Homeland Security and ICE carry out the deportations of criminals and gang members, there is also a new way to get other illegal immigrants to make the trek home on their own.
The Social Security Administration has entered the names of roughly 6,000 illegal immigrants into a database used to track those who are deceased. This essentially takes away the ability of that person to do things like work legally or receive any benefits while they are in the country. The action was requested by Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, and the idea is to persuade other illegal immigrants to leave the U.S. on their own.

Some of the illegal immigrants who are initially being focused on are those who do have legitimate Social Security numbers and who had legal status in the U.S. under one of several temporary work programs started by the Biden administration that have since ended. Many of the people whose names have been entered into the database have criminal records and ties to terrorist activity, including being on the FBI terror watch list. White House spokeswoman Elizabeth Huston said this about the program:
“President Trump promised mass deportations and by removing the monetary incentive for illegal aliens to come and stay, we will encourage them to self deport. He is delivering on his promise he made to the American people.”
Predictably, some current and former Social Security officials, apparently more concerned with the rights of people in the country illegally, are questioning the legality of putting people who are known to be alive and well on a death list, therefore violating privacy laws that do not apply to deceased persons. It is an action that is obviously necessary. I reported on April 8 the recent findings of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which laid out just how illegal immigrants were receiving valid Social Security numbers and work authorizations. There are also illegal immigrants receiving Medicaid, Medicare, unemployment insurance, and federal student loans. The next group will be 92,000 illegal immigrants with criminal histories, but will then expand to those without criminal backgrounds.

There was the usual outcry from those who care more about those in the country illegally than they do actual Americans who are footing the bill for illegal immigration and predicting dire outcomes like certain death. President of the advocacy group Social Security Works, Nancy Altman, said:
“This is an outrageous abuse of power. It will not only create extreme hardship, but kill people. Imagine, in one Trump administration keystroke, losing your income, your health insurance, access to your bank account, your credit cards, your home, and more.”
If the millions of illegal immigrants the Biden administration invited in with the unspoken but assumed promise they would become future loyal Democrat voters will not go home on their own, then there have to be some unconventional ways to encourage them to go, including not being able to work or collect government handouts. Joe Biden gave the world the idea that they could break into the country, stay as long as they like, and sponge off the American people indefinitely. Donald Trump is turning off the lights and telling the world to go home.
