Joe Biden is in deep trouble in the polls.
As my colleague Mike Miller previously reported, the new New York Times/Sienna Poll just decimates Biden in the swing states — he’s behind in five of the six.

The poll goes even further than that. It says the more diverse the swing state is, the more they are leaning away from Biden, as CNN explains.

That’s a huge hit to Biden and the Democrats. The coalition that they desperately need to have any chance in 2024 is falling apart, with people remembering how good they had it under former President Donald Trump versus Joe Biden.
But the effort of Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) to try to explain it away made it even worse and maybe explains why there’s a problem of reality and understanding among the Democrats.
Crockett said the problem is just one of some black Americans not “understanding” reality and basing things on “feelings.” Yikes.
Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett says Biden's drop in support among Black Americans is because "feelings are dictating their reality" and they aren't "understanding exactly how any of this works" pic.twitter.com/QtWcJnyxsh

“Perception is reality,” she claimed. She said when people decide to vote, “It’s all about how you feel in that moment.”
And so while the facts may not align with their feelings, their feelings are dictating their reality. Their reality is that they said that they feel better or they felt better when Trump was in office. But we have been trying to push back. We have got some very popular African-American artists that are out here saying things like, oh, I got checks when Trump was in office, I want those checks again, not understanding that really came from Congress.
So we have got a couple of things, the perception issue. And then we also have an issue as it relates to civics in this country and people not understanding exactly how any of this works.
Wow. Talk about putting down black voters. According to Crockett, because they disagree with her, they lack understanding and are only voting on feelings. Goodness, what an insult. Maybe the problem is they understand very well, they see the reality, and they’re not buying the Democratic propaganda. They know how Biden has affected their pocketbook, and they remember, yes, they had it better under Trump. That’s the reality. In general, Americans did have it better under Trump.
It’s Crockett who is trying to deflect from reality, not the American voters. But it’s another shameful example of how Democrats don’t care what the people think and will try to belittle them if they aren’t completely in line with the Democrat narrative. They don’t care about the voters; all they care about is staying in power.

In other words, according to Democrat @RepJasmine Crockett, blacks are too stupid to understand how much better they are under Biden. Not too bigoted! If Trump said this, Democrats would be drawing up another article of impeachment. https://t.co/A4cO0UqSnO
