At this point, the Democrats are saying anything they can to lash out at President Donald Trump, even if it has no relation to reality.

On CNN, we see a lot of unreality. But even by their standards, they went to another level on Sunday with Democratic strategist Maria Cardona. They were talking about political violence, and of course, Cardona was blaming Trump for that. Not the Democrats calling him “Hitler” or a “threat to democracy,” she blames the guy who was shot in the ear. Scott Jennings pointed out it was Trump who was the victim of political violence.

But it got worse. Check out Scott Jennings’ face, as he can’t quite believe what Cardona says about Charlottesville.

The common falsehood is that Trump called Neo-Nazis “fine people” — which he did not. He specifically criticized them and said they should be rejected totally.

Cardona even took it beyond that. According to Cardona, the marchers were marching in support of Trump, a bizarre claim not grounded in reality. Jennings couldn’t believe she said it — “I’m sorry, what?”

“They were marching in support of what Trump represents,” Cardona insisted. What does he represent? Trump is the worst Hitler ever with rejecting Nazis, having Jewish relatives, and working on peace agreements that help Israel. The silliness of the Democratic arguments is just rampant as their desperation ramps up.

When Jennings raised the question of who was responsible for the leftist “rallies” on campuses, Cardona claimed there were no Democrats who were pushing any of those “rallies.” She apparently missed the Democrats who visited/spoke in support of some of these rallies, such as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), who visited Columbia. Can we also talk about how Kamala Harris has claimed that they have a “point” as well?

Cardona talks about “the violent rhetoric he uses” — um, you mean like “Hitler” or “threat to democracy,” that kind of rhetoric? Can we talk about Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) saying Trump should be “eliminated”? If we go back a little further, how about Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) encouraging people to “push back” against Trump officials when they see them on the street and tell them they are not welcome anywhere? And some were accosted by people and harassed. Then there’s the violence in 2020 with the BLM rallies that were encouraged by Democrats. Kamala herself promoted a bail fund for those arrested during the rioting in Minnesota.

Jennings asked if she believed that Trump’s language was somehow responsible for a random crazy guy attacking Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s husband, then what did she think about who was responsible for inspiring the guy to shoot Trump in the head? Bingo, he nailed that, and she had no real immediate response; she tried to deflect instead.

That’s the bottom line: They want to blame Trump for things he had nothing to do with, but meanwhile, they don’t want to take any responsibility for demonizing Trump or what Democrats say. The hypocrisy is wild.
