A man was arrested by authorities in connection to the rape and sexual abuse of a 10-year-old girl in a questionable abortion case.
According to The Columbus Dispatch, a man aged 27 has been arrested by local police. He is accused of raping a 10-year-old girl as part of a complicated story about abortion rights. This has sparked speculation about its accuracy. The details of the case were not clear as I reported previously. There had been very little or no activity on the case since then.
There were no indications that any part of the story was valid as of yet. More questions now arise because an arrest has been made in direct relation to the child. After an arraignment today, lead detective Jeff Huhn said that the man had confessed to the rape of the girl at least twice. Although the judge declined to release the defendant on bond, he did set it at $ 2 million as the man was a potential flight risk and an illegal resident.
Huhn stated that the rape did in fact concern the child who was brought to Indiana to have an abortion.
Recent days have seen the story come under fire, even from me, for the apparent lack of movement or verification of details. Fox asked numerous questions about the details, but officials did not respond to any of them.
More questions are now being raised about the July 1 story. Jesse Waters was questioned Monday by Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost, who stated that they had not seen any evidence of the crime being reported or occurring. Today, it was announced that Franklin County Children Services brought this case to the attention of authorities. They received the report that the girl was raped on June 22. This also raises questions about the claim that the girl was unable to get an abortion in Ohio because it happened two days before the Dobbs ruling.
Now, the question is how were no other notifications, official reports, or evidence of a sexual assault kit being distributed to anyone at a state level? It is now confirmed that the young girl was actually preyed upon, which is great news.
Three weeks after the incident at a CPS Office was reported, little to no communication had taken place with state offices. Although the story became a worldwide sensation, the President commented on it last Friday. However, the state law enforcement had not found any evidence of the crime in its files. It is curious that, despite all the rumors about the case, no state officials were informed of it until the court appearance.
