Republican Herschel Walker focuses on top Democrats’ comments about race in a TV ad that airs across Georgia starting this week. He accuses his opponent Sen. Raphael Warnock, D-GA, of sowing division.

Warnock is running for reelection in Georgia’s battleground U.S. Senate election. The ad also features Stacey Abrams, Democrat gubernatorial hopeful, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, all of whom have made racially charged comments in recent years.

The ad also features Warnock saying that America has a preexisting disorder. It’s called racism.” Warnock is a long-time pastor who made the comment during a sermon. According to a 2017 video, which was discovered during his first run for office, it appears that Warnock said it in a sermon.

The ad switches to Walker’s message of unity, which he has been promoting since his primary campaign.

This 30-second video is the first major ad campaign that highlights the different perspectives of race among top candidates in Georgia’s largest elections.

The Walker campaign and National Republican Senatorial Committee spent over $2 million on the statewide ad. It first aired Wednesday. Breitbart News confirmed that the Walker campaign had confirmed this to Breitbart.

The ad is coming as Walker has seen modest gains in polls over the past month, which indicates that momentum has shifted his way.

Fox 5 Atlanta and Insider Advantage conducted a poll in September that showed Walker ahead by three points over Warnock. This is six points more than the July poll.
