ABC News shared photos that showed Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), being handcuffed by police officers.

The viral video showed that the congresswomen held their hands behind their backs, as if being handcuffed. They were then taken by police to a pro-abortion protest at the Supreme Court. AOC’s “miraculously”, disappeared at one point so that she could raise a power symbol.

ABC News mentioned that no handcuffs had been seen in the report several paragraphs.

According to Capitol Police, 17 lawmakers were taken into custody. They included Reps. Katherine Clark in Massachusetts, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in New York, Ilhan Omar from Minnesota, Jan Schakowsky of Illinois, and Reps. Katherine Clark in Massachusetts. Police said the charge was for crowding, obstruction or incommoding.

The Supreme Court officers told protesters they were taking part in illegal demonstration activity. They then advised anyone who did not want to be arrested to leave. This sparked singing and chanting by the group.

The officers began to arrest the protestors, but no handcuffs were found. The police also took photos of all those who were arrested, including some lawmakers. They brought water to the area to give to protesters.

Needless to mention, ABC News was not exempted by conservative Twitter for choosing the photograph.
