After a few days, Dr. Walensky experienced mild symptoms and was able to test negative for the virus on Sunday. She will now be able to participate in her scheduled meetings online.
Walensky was the first person to test positive for the disease, in October. According to the CDC, Walensky had mild symptoms and was up-to-date with her vaccines.
