According to a Daily Mail report, Matt Castelli, a former CIA agent running for Congress in New York was alleged to have sex on the clock with several colleagues in a White House Office during his tenure as a member of the National Security Council.

Castelli was the Director of the National Security Council’s Counterterrorism Division under former President Barack Obama. He remained on the job for the first year before launching his campaign against Republican Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-NY.

Castelli’s “open” reputation for drinking, partying and having sex at work is coming back to haunt him in his congressional campaign.

Castelli is alleged to have slept with women in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building’s “prayer room”, which is connected to both the White House, and where National Security Council staffers are located.

Castelli is alleged to have had sex three times with his female colleagues, one of whom was married.

Castelli was also prone to drinking alcohol during work, which led to an “extremely rampant alcohol culture” in his counterterrorism team.

Castelli would go out for drinks and then return to work. Sometimes, he would stay so long that he was eligible for overtime pay. According to the Daily Mail, Castelli said that he felt bad but loved to party.

Castelli was also reportedly “very aware” that a former colleague told the Daily Mail about Castelli’s work habits. He confirmed to the Mail that Castelli would “brag” to his colleagues about his drinking and partying as well as the numerous hookups he had with women while on the job.

Castelli’s campaign, however, dismissed the comments of these ex-colleagues as “political hits job by Elise Stefanik allies.”

Castelli must defeat Democrat Matt Putorti at the New York primary on August 23, before facing Rep. Stefanik during November’s election.

Castelli was among several Democrats who had attended an event organized by far-left groups in which they accused the people who entered the Capitol building on January 6th of treason. Castell said Stefanik had “violated her vow that day and continues to do so every single day since.”

Castelli also compared Stefanik with the American Revolutionary War traitor Benedict Arnold.

Recently, the ex-CIA agent said that the January 6 Capitol Riots inspired his decision to run for Congress.
