Jimmy Carter made remarks during his presidency that would be later called his “malaise talk.” Not because he did not use the term to describe his feelings about the crushing inflation, but because his assessment of the feelings of the Americans from the crush of inflation came off so pessimistically.

Biden was defensive on the issue of inflation. He asked, “Do you believe that’s possible?” He replied, “I’m being foolish.”

The AP tried to make it sound a little more positive by his statement suggesting that he was speaking about inflation rising globally. Fox’s Peter Doocy questioned White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre and she essentially repeated the lie. She also mentioned G7 and stated that we were in a better economic position than the rest.

Jean Pierre and Biden’s comments were, of course.

The latest inflation figures for these countries showed that Germany is at 7.9% and France at 5.2%, Japan at 2.5%, India at 7.04%, and Canada at 6.8%.

He made up nonsense, claiming that the American Rescue Plan was responsible for inflation. It is not a belief held by most economists, and there is no evidence to support that assertion. “I don’t believe it did. Most economists do not believe it did. But, it is absurd to suggest that it caused inflation. He doesn’t know what it is or refuses to acknowledge it.

According to the AP, Americans are worried about their job performance. This is just one way to put it.

A poll conducted by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Research, May found that only 39% of Americans approve of Biden’s presidency. This is a decrease from the negative ratings that Biden received a month earlier.

Only 2 in 10 Americans believe that the U.S. is moving in the right direction and that the economy has been doing well. This drop was concentrated in Democrats, with only 33% saying that the country is on the right track.

Biden’s opinion on Americans being so upset was that Carter said back then that Americans were in a crisis. Biden was, as Biden is, less elegant. Biden claimed that Americans are now suffering from mental illness as a result of the COVID crisis.

Biden said that Americans are “really down” about America’s general mindset.

Biden said that Americans are more dependent on their mental health as a result of all the upheavals.

Biden attempted to blame Republicans for creating anxiety, claiming that their social policy contributed to it. However, Republicans don’t control the government. Fox polls show that Americans trust Republicans more on issues like inflation and maintaining democracy than Biden and Democrats.

He is able to talk about Americans and laugh at their mental health, while also attacking Americans for being unhappy with them. He isn’t the strongest advocate for mental health. It’s something we’ve seen over and over. However, the Associated Press has yet to release a video from the interview. This is a curious oversight. Biden is seen signing the shipping bill on Thursday. He stares into space and can’t seem to answer simple questions. He thinks he is doing an amazing job.

Caterpillar Inc. announced Tuesday that it would be moving its headquarters to Texas. The following statement was posted by the company on its website:

DEERFIELD (IL) – Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE CAT), today announced that it will relocate its global headquarters from Deerfield, Illinois, to its Irving, Texas office.

“We believe that it is in the best strategic interests of the company to move this way, which supports Caterpillar’s strategy for profitable growth, as we help customers build a better and more sustainable world,” stated Chairman and CEO Jim Umpleby.

Since the 1960s, Caterpillar has been present in Texas in several departments of the company. The largest concentration of Caterpillar workers in any country is still found in Illinois.

In 2022, the company will transition its headquarters to Irving.

The company stated that Illinois still has the highest concentration of Caterpillar Caterpillar CAT employees, -5.44%, worldwide, even after the move. The original headquarters was in the Illinois downstate, Peoria. It was moved to Deerfield, a suburb of Chicago, in 2017.

This announcement comes after Boeing announced in May that it would move from Chicago, Illinois, to Arlington, Virginia. And, of course, Tesla’s move last January from Palo Alto, California to Austin, Texas.

It follows Governor Pritzker’s constant praising of the State’s strong financial performance while he stands for re-election.

The Republicans were not generous with their descriptions.

Illinois Republicans are slamming Gov. J.B. Pritzker was criticized after Caterpillar announced its plans to move its corporate headquarters to Texas. But the governor fired back, saying that Texas is still experiencing increased job growth due to his policies.

House Republican Leader Jim Durkin stated that “Caterpillar’s decision not to return to Illinois, after having called it home for many years, is a devastating loss for Illinois’ business community.” “The reasons for this decision couldn’t have been clearer – Illinois’s business climate no longer works for this company.”

Pritzker’s opponent in the Illinois governor’s race says that this move is yet another reason why Republican leadership is necessary for Illinois.

“This is another reminder that Illinois desperately needs change in Springfield.” Jesse Sullivan, a candidate for the Illinois Senate, stated that self-serving career politicians had sold us out.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott was delighted to hear about the move and issued his own statement.

Rand Paul (R.KY) fought with quadruple vaccinated Doctor Anthony Fauci at a Senate hearing this Week. Fauci was questioned by the Senate medical adviser about pushing boosters for children despite an astonishing lack of data.

Paul clarified however that it was essentially “the evidence” Fauci’s committees used.

“That is the only reason to tell your children to take boosters. They make antibodies. It’s not absurd. You have at least five boosters. You have had two to three boosters. Paul asked the question, “Where is the proof?” He was referring to the risks associated with the vaccine.

“So, the risk of myocarditis from a second dose for adolescents aged 12-24 years is approximately 80 per million.” He said that this is from both the CDC as the Israeli study. He also cited another study with “remarkably similar results”.

“So there’s risk and there are risks and you’re telling everyone in America to blindly go out there, because we made antibodies. It isn’t absurd to say that you have 10 boosters. You can actually make antibodies if there are 100 boosters. That’s not science. That’s conjecture. Paul stressed that we shouldn’t be making public policies on it, as Fauci ignored Paul’s main point.

“We heard ranking member Burr speak about his staff’s trip to Israel in his opening speech. And if you look at data from Israel, both the third and fourth shot boosts were associated with clear clinical effects mostly in the elderly. Fauci stated that they also gathered more data from people in their 40s and 50s. “There is clinical data,” Fauci added. Paul agreed, adding, “But not for children.”

Paul stated, noting that 75% of American children have had the disease.

“Why doesn’t the CDC include this information in their data?” The question is open for discussion. To determine who has it, you can run laboratory tests. How common is COVID in children? What are the chances of them being hospitalized or dying after getting it? Paul asked Fauci as Fauci tried to defend his recommendation.

“Senator,” he stated, as Paul interjected. Fauci was not able to answer his question.

“You don’t know the answer to my question.” He asked, “How many children are dying?”

“The answer might be zero, but you don’t even give us the data because your heart is set on protecting everyone from all the data. We’re not smart enough not to see the data,” continued the Kentucky Republican.

“When you published data earlier, the CDC did not include the 18-49 age group on whether there was a health benefit to adults 18-49. Why did it get left out? After critics complained, it was finally added because there was no health benefit to taking a booster between 18 and 49 in the CDC study.” he said.

The most recent data from American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) shows that 46 states, New York City, Puerto Rico and Guam reported child COVID-19 death rates ranging from 0.00% to 0.022%. Children were 0.00%-0.32% of all COVID-19-related deaths. Only 1 state reported no child deaths.

Additionally, hospitalizations were reported in 25 states and New York City.

Matthew McConaughey shared a message on gun reform via social media Friday.

As he continues to raise awareness about gun laws, the “Interstellar” star uploaded a black-and-white video of Camila Alves and her husband visiting Congressmen and President Biden.

The video started with “This is and was gun responsibility.” “Camila met with more than 30 members from both parties. We met with the leaders of the Senate and House, as well as the president.

The actor said, “This is about mental and physical health, safer schools, and keeping guns out the irresponsible arms that, according to rule of law, still possess them today.”

McConaughey is seen with his wife, Nancy Pelosi (D-California), talking to various government officials in the video.

McConaughey visited the White House in June to make an emotional plea for gun ownership reform during a press conference.

The actor, 52, is from Uvalde Texas. He was born there and killed 19 students and two teachers in May 24, when Salvador Ramos, 18, shot at Robb Elementary.

McConaughey stated that gun ownership should not be considered partisan, arguing that people in power have failed “to act.”

He said, “We need background checks,” while speaking from a podium and proposing changes to the outdated gun laws. “We must raise the minimum age for purchasing an AR-15 rifle from 21. These rifles should be kept in storage for a period of time. Red flag laws are needed and there should be consequences for those who misuse them.

“How is it possible that these people’s lives have been lost?” He reflected. “We must recognize that it appears something is different this time.”

McConaughey stated that it was crucial for elected officials from “both sides of the aisles” to communicate with one another in order to find solutions for the American people.

“We are now in a window that offers us a chance to make real change. He said that this window seemed like it could bring about real change and real change.

Latino Democrats in Congress are raising alarm after Republican Mayra Flowers won a South Texas seat that has been held almost exclusively for Democrats for over 100 years.

Florez defeated Dan Sanchez, Democrat, in a Tuesday runoff election. Republicans claim this is a sign of a new trend among Latino voters. Democrats say the election was a fluke. Many Latino Democrats feel that their party has taken its voters for granted for way too long.

On Thursday, Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-Texas) told Politico that the DCCC needed to take South Texas seriously. “I don’t believe it’s a political realignment but this should send out a message to DCCC… You cannot take Hispanics for granted as they always do.”

Rep. Vicente Gonzalez (D-Texas) said, “I hope that the [Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee] will learn their lesson from this before it happens across all of the countries.” They have forgotten about the Brown people at the border. That’s what it is. It’s not something I want to sugarcoat. They take South Texas Latinos for granted.”

Republicans are also profiting from Flores’ win and arguing that it is yet another sign that the party is making progress with Latino voters after President Donald Trump won historic support in 2020.

Fox News’ Ronna McDaniel, chair of the Republican National Committee, said that “it’s a precursor to things that we believe are to come in the Hispanic community across the country.” “Democrats should be very concerned about what they’re seeing among Hispanic voters.”

However, some Democrats claim that Republican spending on Flores’ race was a waste of effort for a symbolic win. Flores will now be heading to Washington to represent Texas’ 34th Congressional District. Nevertheless, the district was redrawn to favor Democrats for the November election.

Sanchez was defeated by Flores in the 34th District version that President Joe Biden won by four points in 2020. However, the Republican-drawn version would favor Biden by fifteen points.

“Look, I believe the Republicans spent millions to win this seat that’s being lost. “We’re going to win the seat when it matters,” Rep. Sean Maloney (D-N.Y.), who is also chair of DCCC, told Politico. “You don’t like losing, so I can understand why people were upset. Republicans have burned a lot of dollars, and that’s what we’ll end up with”.

Flores is now settling into her office, but she will soon face an electoral challenge against Gonzalez in November to decide the fate of the new 34th District.

Alex Murdaugh was the only survivor. He told him in a newly released prisonhouse telephone call that he understood that his disgraced South Carolina legal father had “done illicitly”.

The call was placed on Dec. 22, 2021, three days before Christmas, by 53-year-old Murdaugh from the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center in Richland County, where he has been jailed since October on a slew of financial fraud charges first unearthed amid allegations that he embezzled $4.3 million in insurance payout money intended for the sons of his dead housekeeper, Gloria Satterfield.

The recording was among more than 100 that The State, a Columbia newspaper in South Carolina, obtained via Freedom of Information Act requests.

This was after Cameron McGowan Currie, a U.S. District Judge, issued an order on June 1, denying Murdaugh’s lawyers, Dick Harpootlian and Jim Griffin’s attempts at preventing Murdaugh from releasing incoming calls Murdaugh made while in prison to different news agencies.

Murdaugh admitted that he was aware that phone calls would be recorded and monitored. However, he never consented to the tapes being released for law enforcement purposes. FITSNews was an independent investigative outlet that was able to obtain some tapes from jail several months ago. They were also the ones who led the legal effort to release more recordings.

Murdaugh remains in prison on a $7 million bond and all his financial assets have been frozen.

Murdaugh was indicted by a South Carolina grand jury on 15 counts containing 79 charges.

An announcement by state investigators earlier this month stated that they had been granted permission by Satterfield’s family to exhume Satterfield’s body four years ago. This was after a mysterious fall at Murdaugh’s house in 2018. A death certificate stated that Satterfield died of natural causes. Her death was not reported to her coroner and an autopsy was not done.

June 7th marked the anniversary of the double murders of Alex Murdaugh’s wife Maggie Murdaugh, and their son Paul Murdaugh (22), who took place on the sprawling Moselle estate, which spans 1,700 acres in rural Colleton County. The area is called the Lowcountry. Alex Murdaugh may be a curiosity. However, no official suspects have been named in the homicides.

Alex Murdaugh is accused of plotting a suicide-for-hire plot three months after discovering that his son and wife had died on the family estate. He had hoped Buster Murdaugh would give him $10 million to cover his life insurance policy.

Murdaugh was shot briefly and was then airlifted to the hospital. This occurred just one day after Murdaugh was confronted by his great-grandfather’s partners at the prominent personal injury law firm. They were concerned about alleged thefts amounting to millions of dollars.

Murdaugh’s relatives were also the chief of the local prosecutor’s office for generations. Murdaugh was released initially from custody to receive treatment for an alleged opioid addiction that had been brewing for decades at out-of-state rehab centers.

He was later arrested in Orlando for new charges of defrauding Satterfield’s children.
