President Biden tests negative for COVID-19 on Wednesday morning. He has completed his treatment plan and will cease isolating, White House physician Dr. Kevin O’Connor stated.

O’Connor stated that Biden had completed his five-day Paxlovid course 36 hours ago and that he has “completed five days of isolation” as of Wednesday morning.

“He remains fever-free and he discontinued use of any acetaminophen (TYLENOL) for the past 36 hours,” O’Connor said. “His symptoms have been steadily improving, and are almost completely resolved.”

“Yesterday evening, and then again, this morning, he tested Negative for the SARS-CoV-2 virus by antigen testing,” O’Connor said, adding that “given these reassuring factors, the president will discontinue his strict isolation measures.”

O’Connor stated that Biden will remain “very specific to protect any Executive Residence, White House and Secret Service staff whose duties require any (albeit socialist distant) proximity to him.”

O’Connor stated that the president would wear a well-fitting, 10-day-long mask whenever he is with others.

O’Connor said that he acknowledged the possibility of so-called “rebound” COVID positivity in patients treated with Paxlovid. He will increase his testing to ensure people around him are protected and early detection of any potential return to viral replication.

Jill Biden, First Lady, and Kamala Harris, Vice President continue to test negative for COVID-19.
