Biden Takes Shot At Reporter Saying Recession Could Be Inevitable

0

After being asked by a reporter about economists forecasting a recession on Monday, President Biden responded with a shot at the reporter: “Don’t make it up!” “Economists say that a recession will be more likely than ever,” Biden can hear the reporter saying on a Delaware beach.

Biden stated that “not the majority” and added, “Come on, don’t make it up.”

Biden stated, “Now you sound like an American politician, I’m laughing, that was joke, that wasn’t a joke, that is a joke.” “But all jokes aside, I don’t believe it is. Larry Summers told me this morning that a recession is not inevitable.

He stated that he believed he could reduce insulin’s cost and increase taxes for those who work in the corporate sector.

Summers spoke on Sunday on NBC and said that a recession is likely, just as it did in the past due to high levels of inflation.

“I believe there will be a recession. This is based on the fact that there has never been a situation such as this with inflation exceeding 4% and unemployment above 4%, without a recession within a year or so. Summers stated on NBC that the Fed will raise interest rates to prevent inflation. “I think that’s the likely scenario.” Summers said.

Summers stated that an “overheated economy” was the most likely reason for a recession during a CNN appearance on June 15.

He also stated that the United States has the potential to use electric vehicles and renewable energy. His team will be meeting with CEOs of oil companies to discuss “how they can justify making $35 billion in quarter one.”

The inflation rate rose 8.6% in May to a new 40 year high. On Sunday, the national average gallon price trended slightly lower at $5.

Janet Yellen, Treasury Secretary, stated Sunday that the only solution to the rising gas prices and energy crisis in the medium term was to shift to renewable energy.

Brian Stelter Attempts to Reframe the January 6 Hearing but Instead Exposes the Sham

0

Stelter’s desperateness in reinterpreting the J-6 hearing reveals the true goal.

The media has begun to notice a shift in the perception of the January 6 Committee hearing. This is something that the press doesn’t want to admit publicly. Each televised program ends, and the media is beginning to see the truth that they lack substance. All we have been shown is a repeat of prior findings, and edited-for-television clips defying trial standards for evidence, with claims being insisted but proof lacking.

Each performance has seen less media interest and those who remain, true believers, are becoming more shrill in their intent. Brian Stelter is one of the most passionate supporters of this comedy festival. CNN has been an ally to the J-6C since the beginning and has been the conduit for leaks throughout. Jamie Gangel, CNN’s primary connection to the Congressional group, described how dismayed various committee members were in February.

“Gangel stated that she was contacted by four members of Congress who were investigating Jan. 6’s insurrection at Capitol. They ‘felt devastated for democracy’ after Zucker’s exit from CNN”.

The network has not changed its course and continues to highlight and amplify the work of the committee. Now Brian Stelter is working overtime trying to maintain their implied relevance. Brian had been vocal in his condemnation of Fox News’ failure to participate with other networks prior to the primetime hearing. We saw other outlets abandoning their commitment by Thursday. Many PBS stations chose to air children’s programming on that afternoon. NBC, however, blatantly cut off the US Open golf tournament.

These decisions were made without Mr. Stelter’s bleating, which was amplified by the silence of Fox who ran both hearings.

Yesterday, CNN’s media maven tried to do some cleanup work for the committee. Stelter began to use a lot of reframing in an attempt to save these hearings, as it became clear that there is very little persuasive evidence being presented.

This hearing is supposed to investigate the January 6 events and the causes of the riot. Stelter suggests that this is only a secondary matter. He says, “It may not be the most important aspect.” This is a remarkable statement. This is nothing but desperation. He suggests that the extremely charged hearing duty is secondary. This is an indication of the failure to live up to that mission statement. He begins to list stories about recent New Mexico election results being challenged. These stories have no bearing on an inquiry into actions taken more than a year ago.

One striking detail is the floating headlines that he uses during his monologue. Even if you don’t care, your grandkids will be interested in the Jan. 6 hearings. The tacit admission that hearings are not a major event explains a lot. His network has spent over a year hyping the impending riot. He has loved covering this committee, but the growing tide of public apathy means that he has to recast the story in order to justify the coverage.

Stelter quotes Joe Kahn (newly appointed executive editor of the New York Times), saying that “You can’t have independent journalism within a non-free society.” This is despite the fact that CNN and Stelter have been willingly working for the Democrats and the committee, without any sense of perspective. Instead of looking back at the lackluster impact and exploring the reasons, Brian chooses to go into the spin machine.

He is silent as networks leave the hearings. The mounting reality of few substantive findings is being reinterpreted. It is now less about uncovering the truth and more about leveraging future influence. This exposes the intention of the committee right from the beginning. This is not a Congressional investigation seeking evidence. It is a partisan fishing expedition, with an eye on the 2024 general elections and the midterms.

As people realize this, Stelter, the pitchman, is trying to create a new campaign as they move away from broadcasts. Because the public isn’t buying it, there is an urgent need to repackage the product.

Air Travel in the US Descends Into Chaos

0

This weekend saw more than ten thousand flights canceled across the country, leaving thousands of people stranded at airports thousands of miles away from their homes. Ten thousand flights. It is almost impossible to comprehend.

You can read my travel-hell tale from Thursday night. I was one of those people who was delayed and had to rent a car to drive 12 hours to pick up my children. My children could get the COVID vaccine, a tattoo, and possibly abortion. But they wouldn’t be allowed to check into a hotel without an adult.

Today (Sunday), it seems that we are in double jeopardy. Our flight to Los Angeles was canceled and we don’t have any way to get back. The airline has a two-day best offer.

It’s one thing driving from NYC to Savannah; it’s quite another to drive 35 hours from Savannah to California. Although we were able to get seats on another carrier’s flight, they weren’t cheap.

JetBlue and other airlines made a mockery of Thursday’s weather cancellations. This was nonsense since the weather in New York (NY) was perfect. They would never do that. They don’t need to pay for meals or your hotel if they can say it was the weather. (Yes, there were scattered thunderstorms throughout the country. It was difficult to cancel 10,000 flights.

They’re recognizing other issues than the weather for my second flight cancellation in three days. The possibility of a reimbursement hotel room is a distant possibility.

However, these cancellations can be costly. We have to pay extra for hotel stays and meals, as well as the hotel that we booked for Friday night. The unbudgeted expenses will almost certainly reach the thousands.

This mess is causing great pain for many people. A man says to me, “I shut down my business for several days in order to take my son on his very first trip.” “I’ve lost thousands, and we’re not on vacation, so now I have to come up with more to find a place for tonight.” A woman next to him cries.

How is this possible? (By the by, it was no less of an emergency over Memorial Day weekend).

It’s mostly due to staffing shortages in pilots, crew, or air control. The Biden Administration mandated vaccinations for pilots and other personnel. Many of them quit or were fired because they refused to comply. Joe, you don’t need pilots to fly planes.

Business Insider:

Staff shortages, like many other industries, were a problem that existed for a long time before the pandemic. However, the pandemic made the situation worse because airlines had to furlough workers or let them go in their thousands.

But don’t worry, Pete Buttigieg (Transportation Secretary) is there to save the day. He had not shown any interest in the topic until Friday’s cancellation of his flight, which forced him to drive four hours from DC to NYC. (It’s funny that Transpo Sec had his flight canceled.

What’s Buttigieg’s solution? You must punish the airlines

Buttigieg said that the Department of Transportation is still monitoring the performance of airlines over the Fourth of July. If the standards for consumer protection are not being met, it could take enforcement action.

He said that he would fine the airlines if they didn’t hire more employees. Pete, where are these magic people? He suggested that airlines undergo a stress test to determine how they do. This weekend and Memorial Day weekend were stress tests and they failed utterly.

The Biden Administration is quick and furious to take the blame. It’s the weather. It’s COVID. And it’s Putin. It’s also likely Trump’s fault.

It is clear that another disaster is unfolding under the watchful eye of this administration. This is not the America we are used to.

Democrats Facing Death by a Thousand Paper-Cuts

According to RealClearPolitics, Joe Biden’s approval rating average is 39.8 percent. He’s at 33.6 percent on the economy. It’s 35.5 percent for immigration. It’s at 39 percent for foreign policy. He’s at 50.3 percent for the coronavirus – his highest number.

An average of 22.7 percent of Americans believe the country is heading in the right direction.

In a way they had never done before, far-left progressives took over the party in Biden’s first term. They fought against the moderate wing of the party and pitted the President’s Office against key Senators from their own teams. Only the COVID-19 package of aid, now called the American Rescue Plan, was able to pass Congress. It is the only piece that contributed to American inflation.

The Senate is not interested in Biden’s agenda. Multiple reports have come in from media outlets stating that the Democrats want Biden not to limit his executive authority.

Biden’s black voter support is waning. His voter base, which he won over in 2018 and 2020, has lost faith. Hispanic voters are now shifting to the Republican Party due to concerns about immigration, education, and other social issues. The party that believed demography was destiny is now watching the demographics change.

The economy is in crisis. Living expenses are becoming more costly every day due to inflation. While gas prices affect everyone, they are particularly affecting the middle and lower classes. It’s impossible to go grocery shopping and not worry about your financial situation. For a country that already had a great number of people struggling with living paycheck-to-paycheck, we’re now making that problem even worse.

It is possible that there will be another shortage of baby formula, given that the Abbott plant that caused the initial shortage was closed again because of flooding, and that the Biden administration won’t relax the regulations that prevent formula imports from being made.

In January 2021, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics’ special index for construction materials was 256.4. It was at 344.3 as of March 2022 — a 34% increase. In January 2021, the concrete index was at 179.8. By March 2022 it had increased to 200.3. This is an 11 percent increase. Although the price of steel has fluctuated, with it dropping rapidly at various points, it remains at a historic high level. You’ve likely noticed the high oil price.

Other construction costs have also increased. The cost of Gypsum, which is used in plaster and ceiling tiles, has risen 20 percent from last year. Insulation has seen a 17% increase in cost over the past year. Paint is so scarce that paint manufacturers are buying back paint in order to make new products. This article in American Painting Contractor is a joke, but it’s not exactly true. You guys, thanks for dating this article on March 30. The country does face a shortage of paint.

What happens when all 50 states, and an unknown number of localities, all attempt to purchase these products simultaneously? What happens when the demand for these products rises rapidly but the supply remains constant? Some consumers are unable to get the products they want or must wait longer before getting them delivered because of skyrocketing prices.

Even the bipartisan infrastructure bill, which is highly anticipated, doesn’t seem to be able to create the jobs and make the necessary improvements that it promised.

All is well with Joe Biden, the Democrats, and all at once.

Joe Biden is lucky to be in charge of some things. Yes, there’s global inflation. And yes, Putin has declared war on Ukraine. This has caused severe disruption to global energy and food prices. However, inflation in America is far more severe than global inflation. It can be argued that Putin was only content to declare war on Ukraine because it was Biden and no one stronger who was in control of America.

Many of the problems we face are the result of Biden’s policies and the Democrats’ activism. Because the Biden administration was ready to close the fossil fuel industry, domestic energy production has been halted. They made domestic production so expensive that they couldn’t make it profitable. Instead of investing in new leases, investors want to see a return for what they have invested before. Despite the Biden administration’s persistent demands for increased production, energy companies are closing their doors.

Moreover, Democrats are having a hard time on social issues. Voters aren’t as concerned about trans and abortion as they would like and are more inclined to support Republican talking points regarding public education.

Everything that could go wrong has gone wrong, and voters are not likely to find relief until they lock in their November choices. The January 6 hearings were mostly ignored by Americans. They don’t believe that we are in a recession and are simply heading for the exits to support the Democratic Party.

Although there is no permanent political majority, the Democrats could have been a minority for a decade due to their political behavior.

Transgender Lia Thomas’ Professional Career Swims Into a Brick Wall After Major Ruling

0

After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, Lia Thomas, a biologically transgender swimmer and a champion in women’s swimming, had high aspirations. It was a dream to crush physically disabled women at the Olympics.

FINA, an international body that regulates women’s swimming has made Thomas’s career path more difficult.

World swimming’s governing body effectively banned transgender athletes from competing in women’s events.

“If you transition after the start of puberty, you have an advantage, which is unfair,” the spokesperson for FINA says. https://t.co/PC7Vwgm4Cs

— NBC News (@NBCNews) June 19, 2022

The World Swimming governing body banned transgender swimmers from participating in women’s events Sunday.

FINA members voted 71.5% for its new “gender-inclusive policy”, which allows only swimmers who have transitioned from male to female competitions, at the extraordinary general congress.

This is not to say that people should be encouraged to make the transition before they turn 12. “This is not saying that people should transition before the age of 12.

This ruling is still a dumb decision by normal standards, so I hesitate to praise it. It doesn’t mean that a male “transitions”, before puberty, and is any less of a man. Nor does it negate all the biological benefits that go with that transition. It’s nice to see some semblances of sanity.

It is absurd to think that Thomas, a fully-formed male, has been able to compete with women. This is someone who decided suddenly that they were a “woman” a few years back. The physical dominance of Thomas is astonishing, and the NCAA should be embarrassed for allowing this to continue.

It’s not comforting that this decision was made by an international body. Thomas could have continued to abuse the system and the sport if the situation was left in the control of Americans, such as the NCAA. Ironically, it was a group of Eurotrash bureaucrats who did the right thing.

To return to the details, Thomas has two options. He can swim against males or he could choose to swim in an “open” division. This will likely cater to transgender people. I think that’s the right decision. This charade was impossible to continue, and Thomas is allowed to swim. Thomas can’t destroy women’s swimming by winning medals against 130-pound girls.

Republicans Mulling Run For President Not Waiting On Trump

0

Donald Trump, the former President of the United States, teases crowds in America suggesting that he might run for President again in 2024. Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said to Fox News that he doesn’t think the 2024 Republican field has been frozen until Trump decides.

“President Trump was perfect. Perfect for 2016. Pompeo stated that we needed this kind of disruption. “If I decide that I am the right person to take that responsibility forward, I will start in Iowa to make that case to the American people.”

At the three-day Faith and Freedom Coalition Road to Majority Conference, held in Nashville, Pompeo, Trump and Nikki Haley gave the keynote speeches.

This annual gathering of religious conservatives was created to help Republicans prepare for the midterm elections. Pompeo and Haley answered questions about 2024 by stating that they are focused on helping Republicans win governors and congressional races across the country. They will then officially determine their political futures.

Haley stated that she doesn’t believe that I need to make the decision until next year. “I’ve never lost a race. I won’t start right now. If I have a place, I’ll put 1000% to it and we’ll complete it.”

Pompeo said, “We will look at that exact question at the end of the year, the beginning next year.” “We will pray, and we will work.”

Another anticipated 2024 candidate, Mike Pence, was absent from this year’s conference. Pence was reportedly at an Ohio energy roundtable and a source close to him pointed out that he had recently joined the Faith and Freedom Coalition of North Carolina. Ralph Reed, founder of the Coalition, said that Pence is still very involved with the organization.

After his meeting with Trump, Pence was booed at the conference last year. Reed claims that there were only a few vocal jeers at the conference and that most of those booing weren’t coalition members. They were mostly people who “just registered and showed-up and protested Trump.”

Reed described Pence as a “favorite friend of the Faith and Freedom Coalition.” He has spoken at numerous Faith and Freedom events across the country. He is always welcome. He was invited to come back next year. He will be invited back next year, and he will be invited back each year.”

Despite potential Republican candidates being placed early, the former president still dominates the field.

“Would anyone like me to run for president?” During his Friday keynote address, Trump asked the audience. This was the most enthusiastic applause he received during his Friday keynote address. Trump has yet not officially announced a second run for the presidency.

Trump spent much time criticizing Pence in his address for not trying to overturn the 2020 elections and repeating unsubstantiated allegations of widespread voter fraud. Senior Republicans have publicly urged Trump to focus on his 2020 loss and the high energy and inflation prices and southwest border surges which have dragged down Democrats’ approval ratings.

Haley was asked if Trump should stop talking about 2020. Trump replied that it was up to him and that Trump felt “heartburn” over this. We need to be able to see that the American people are suffering, and their wallets are suffering.”

Eva Longoria Helps Create Race-Based Crew Database For Discriminatory Film And TV Hiring

0

Eva Longoria and Charles D. King, producers, revealed at the Produced By conference in June that they have created a talent database based on race to allow studios to explicitly engage with racial discrimination when hiring film crews.

According to Deadline, Longoria stated that “We have to do work” at the conference.

King and Longoria added that they share the “diverse talent,” as Deadline refers to it, with other filmmakers, such as Ava DuVernay who directed the factually-challenged Netflix miniseries, When They See Us, and Colin in Black and White which was a social justice vanity project for Colin Kaepernick.

King agreed with Longoria about the fact that their role in producing involves racial discrimination during the hiring process.

King stated, “A lot of the times we’re taking an enormous leap and you have fill in the gaps.” You just need to keep calling your friends and everyone, but they are out there. There are enough people who have some experience to make the jump to the next level.

Producers see no problem with ethnic discrimination. This echos the ideology of “antiracism” as popularized and promoted by Ibram.X. Kendi. In his book How to Be an Antiracist Kendi wrote that “Antiracist discrimination is the only solution to racism discrimination.” Present discrimination is the only way to end discrimination from the past. Future discrimination is the only way to end discrimination in the present.

Longoria and King claim that the film industry is de facto racist because it has not had a majority of minorities on its crews in the past. To correct the past discrimination, a meritocracy is not the answer. Instead, active discrimination should be used to favor those previously excluded.

Biden Admin Explores Bussing Migrants To US Towns Hours Beyond Border

0

Republican lawmakers claim that President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security is creating plans to send migrants into American towns, hours beyond the U.S.–Mexico border.

According to the New York Post, the potential policy is one way DHS secretary Alejandro Mayorkas seeks to reduce the flow of migrants to U.S. border communities. August Pfluger (Republican from Texas) wrote to Mayorkas to express concern over the government sending migrants to San Angelo in Texas, which he represents.

Pfluger wrote that San Angelo was a welcoming community. However, the locality had not signed up for this mission and they are not responsible for the burdens of border crisis.

He said that the DHS’s shortsighted policies to encourage illegal immigration and its failure to control the southern border operationally led to this situation.

Pfluger said that he learned about the DHS plans only after San Angelo’s local law enforcement informed him.

This potential bus campaign is months after Republican Texas Governor. Greg Abbott protested against the Biden administration’s immigrant policies by sending buses of migrants to Washington, D.C.

Abbott stated that Texasans deserve and demand a comprehensive, aggressive strategy to secure their border. He also criticized President Biden’s inept leadership. “As the federal government continues its rollback of commonsense policies which once kept our communities safe,” Abbott said in a statement at the time. He added that local law enforcement had stepped up to protect Texans against dangerous criminals, deadly drug use, and illegal contraband flooding into Texas.

Abbott has already sent more than 2,000 migrants by bus to Washington, D.C.

Joe Biden Busted for His Latest Inflation Whopper

0

Joe Biden desperately attempts to convince Americans that the 8.6% annual U.S. inflation rate in May is not his fault. Because blaming others for inflation hasn’t worked, the Biden White House is trying yet another new strategy: claiming that inflation is bad (and even worse) everywhere else.

Biden said this week that the United States is performing better than other countries with inflation.

Biden stated, “We are stronger than any other nation to defeat this inflation.” “It’s not my fault. The inflation rate in all major industrial countries in this world is higher than in America?” “I’m not being a wise guy.”

He lies. This is the problem.

Fox Business data has shown that the German inflation rate stands at 7.9%, France at 5.2%, Japan at 2.5%, India at 7.04%, Canada and Italy at 6.8%, and Saudi Arabia at 2.2%. All of those numbers are better than the United States’ 8.6%—and I sincerely hope Joe Biden and White House economists know this.

Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy called Biden out on his lies during an intense exchange with Karine Jean Pierre, Biden’s press secretary.

Doocy asked: “Why is the president saying that inflation is worse elsewhere than here?”

“First of all, inflation is a global challenge as you have said, It is caused by, clearly, the pandemic — this was the generation pandemic that we are coming out of. And also, most recently, the war that Putin started in Ukraine that has caused inflation as we look at food and as we look at gas prices,” Jean-Pierre said. “So if you look at globally other countries, and if you look at where we are economically when you think about the Group of Seven — the G7 — we are in a much stronger place than we are economical than the rest.”

Jean-Pierre was confronted by Doocy about his supposed lies. “He says the inflation is worse everywhere but here. That’s not true. The U.S. has worse inflation than Germany, France, Japan, Canada, India, Italy, and Saudi Arabia. So why is he saying that?”

Of course, she had a shitty answer.

She tried to explain how inflation is a global phenomenon. This is because everyone feels this way after a once-in-a-lifetime pandemic. This is because Russia initiated the war in Ukraine.

When your lies are easily proved false by the facts, you revert back to the blame game. At this point, all the Biden administration can do is play the blame game.

Why Are Thousands of Flights Being Canceled at America’s Airports?

0

America’s biggest air carriers are having a difficult start to the summer travel season. More than 2,800 flights were canceled over the Memorial Day weekend. Severe weather was a minor factor.

On one of the most difficult travel days this summer, more than a third of all flights from LaGuardia Airport was canceled Thursday. Partly, the problem can be attributed to a shortage of pilots. The pandemic has not yet seen the completion of retirements or losses.

The staffing shortage doesn’t just affect pilots. Staffing shortages affect all levels of aviation personnel: ground personnel, flight crews, and airport security personnel.

New York Post:

Delta, American, and Southwest Airlines pilot unions claim that the companies are too slow to replace those who have retired or taken leave of absence due to the pandemic.

Poor weather conditions have been blamed by airlines as well as the Federal Aviation Administration. This agency manages the country’s airspace and air traffic control centers. Staffing problems are another issue.

Thursday’s cancellations were caused by a meeting between airline CEOs and US Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg to discuss concerns about airport bottlenecks and frustrated passengers this summer.

“I let them know that this is a moment when we are really counting on them to deliver reliably for the traveling public,” Buttigieg told NBC News.

Officials in the Biden administration have adopted this familiar refrain: It’s not our fault.

What can airlines do to ensure that they “deliver reliably for the traveling public”? Maybe a TV campaign called “Help Wanted: Pilots”.

It’s not a fact that people who are able to safely pilot large jets don’t come from trees. Ex-military pilots now make up about one-third of the total, a drop from 80 percent in the 1960s. Pilots are also finding it difficult to get into the military. This is worrisome news to the commercial airline industry, as the complex machines they fly are making it harder for them to attract pilots. Industry analysts have been pointing out the problems in the pipeline of pilots for more than a decade. They range from civilian to military work.

The predictions of pilot shortages are now a reality. Airlines are struggling to fill the gaps in their schedules due to the pandemic and massive layoffs within the commercial airline industry. This is because there are fewer than expected pilot hires.

The Air Force increased the length of time a pilot must serve by increasing the number from four years to ten in the 1960s. A Washington Post analysis found that a pilot who serves ten years does the same work as 2.5 pilots who serve four years each.

This also discourages some pilots who see a four-year commitment as an alternative to flight school, but aren’t ready to commit to 10+ years of flying after one or more years of training.

Even though the flight time requirements for commercial copilots have increased from 250 to 1,500, most pilots now choose a civil education. Smith stated that it can be as high as $300,000. The returns are immediate: entry-level copilots can make $30,000 to $50,000 per year, while veterans working for major airlines can make $300,000.

It is unlikely those pilot shortages will be remediated anytime soon.

The Transportation Security Administration’s turnover is a major problem. Non-government airport workers are also notoriously underpaid. The first step to addressing the problem is to attract and keep workers.

However, if you fly this summer, there will be delays or cancellations.
