Disney Shares Close Under $100 For First Time In More Than Two Years

0

The Walt Disney Co. shares continued to fall this week. They closed Friday at $99.40, a 9 percent drop — the first time that the stock has fallen below $100 in over two years.

After a major shakeup of the company’s executive offices, Disney shares suffered a serious beating this week. The surprise firing of Peter Rice by CEO Bob Chapek on Thursday stunned the entertainment industry, and shocked Disney employees.

Disney shares have fallen 37 percent for the year. This makes it the worst performer in the Dow Jones Industrial Average’s past twelve months.

In April 2020, Disney stock closed below $100 for the last time.

The Florida Governor’s war against Disney continues to haunt Disney. Ron DeSantis (R), is upset about the state’s Parental Rights in Education Law, which prohibits teaching sexuality or gender ideology to children in kindergarten through the third grade.

Bob Chapek, CEO of Disney, agreed to radical LGBTQ activism and embraced a select group of woke employees. He stated that Disney would continue to fight to repeal the Florida law.

Florida took Walt Disney World in Orlando’s self-governing privileges away, potentially exposing it to new taxes and regulations.

Republicans, Democrats Dismiss Impact Jan. 6 Could Have On Midterms

0

Many Republicans and Dems have dismissed the notion that Jan. 6, investigation and hearings, will have any significant impact on the midterm elections.Multiple Democratic strategists and Republican members of Congress denied the idea that voters might be more motivated than they were because of Jan. 6 Committee’s actions. Instead, they pointed to “much larger” issues such as the economy which they believe will play a greater role in November.

The Jan. 6 Committee is comprised of 7 Democrats, 2 Republicans, Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) and Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.). It was part of an investigation into the Jan. 6 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol by former President Donald Trump supporters.

This hearing is likely to be one of many televised hearings by the committee. The next two are already scheduled for Monday and Wednesday next weeks.

Jessica Tarlov, a Fox News contributor and Democratic strategist, echoed Khanna’s sentiment.

She said that the “much larger” issues facing voters would be Roe v. Wade’s possible overturning by the Supreme Court and the ongoing debate about guns after the massacre at Uvalde Elementary School in Texas that resulted in the deaths of 19 students and two teachers.

Marshall and Tarlov both predicted that it would be “very likely” that Republicans would win control of House of Representatives in November. However, they were divided on what this meant for the investigation.

Tarlov expressed confidence that the committee would complete its work by November. Marshall however suggested that the investigation, even if it was not complete, “wouldn’t continue” after the House is under Republican control.

Despite the grim outlook for Democrats’ chances of winning, each member praised the efforts of the committee in conducting the investigation.

Tarlov stated that the committee serves a purpose and that Jan. 6 was “a stark reminder” of where the Republican Party stands today.

The Republicans acknowledged that other issues, including the economy, would be the main focus in November but had a negative view of the committee.

Rep. Mo Brooks is running for the Senate seat of retiring Sen. Richard Shelby, R-Ala. He has not yet responded to a subpoena. Brooks claimed that the work of the committee was “a propaganda effort” and “akin the Russian collusion hoax.”

Brooks, who agreed with Marshall and Tarlov, predicted that voters would care more about high gas prices and inflation and the possibility of a recession than about Jan. 6.

Rep. Brian Mast, R-Fla., suggested that Washington, D.C.’s January 6 focus, rather than issues affecting Americans every day, could drive voters to the Republicans.

Mast called the committee “a distraction, misdirection and a sleight-of-hand” before predicting that Republicans would win the midterms, ending the “inherently unjust” process of the committee.

Investigators Reveal Chilling Details After Texas Baby Holly is Found Safe Over 40 Years After Parents’ Murder

0

Officials announced that “Baby Holly”, a child who disappeared in Texas in the 1980s when her parents vanished, was discovered alive and well 40 years later.

Officials confirmed that Holly Marie Clouse (42), was “alive” after using genetic genealogy to identify her parents Tina Gail Linn Clouse Jr. and Harold Dean Clouse Jr.

During a press conference, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s Office made the shocking announcement. Investigators stressed that the public must help them find answers.

Paxton’s office issued a press release stating that Baby Holly, 42 years old, was found healthy and well. She is in contact with her extended biological family and hopes to see them soon.

Clouse spoke Tuesday with her biological family and will soon be able to meet them in person. Brent Webster, First Assistant Attorney General, stated that Clouse was offered a trip by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to be reunited with her biological family.

To achieve this significant development, the Texas Attorney General’s Office Cold Case and Missing Persons Unit teamed with Identifiers International and National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and various law enforcement agencies from Texas and Florida.

Holly’s grandmother Donna Casasanta stated that Holly’s health was discovered on Dean’s birthday by her family. The news was a “birthday gift from heaven”.

She stated, “I prayed over 40 years for answers and the Lord has shown some… we have found Holly. “Thank you to all of the investigators who searched tirelessly for Holly”.

Officials confirmed that Tina Gail Linn Clouse Jr. and Harold Dean Clouse Jr. had been found murdered in a Houston wooded area in the 1980s.

Due to the hard work done by my office’s newly formed Cold Case and Missing Persons Unit — Baby Holly, who has been missing for 40 years, has been located alive and well! https://t.co/ZL5Teunaht

— Attorney General Ken Paxton (@KenPaxtonTX) June 9, 2022

Holly, who was a newborn at that time, wasn’t found. For many decades, she was declared missing. Tina and Dean were declared missing for many decades. Paxton’s office said that their remains remained unidentified until 2021. Paxton stated that family members continued to search for information about the disappearance and whereabouts of the trio. They hadn’t heard from them since 1980.

The bizarre circumstances surrounding the death of the young Clouse family members are now revealed

Webster stated that Holly was left at an Arizona church and taken in by him.

Webster described how Holly was brought to church by two women who claimed they were members of a nomadic religious group.

“They indicated the beliefs of their religion included the separation of male and female members, practicing vegetarian habits, and not using or wearing leather goods,” he said. “The women indicated they had given up a baby before at a laundromat.”

According to reports, the group traveled across the Southwest region of the United States, including Arizona, California, and possibly Texas.

Identifinders is happy to announce a resolution to the Holly Marie Clouse missing persons case. Many thanks to @stjbs for his article in the Houston Chronicle about the discovery:https://t.co/KWfKAF3Lee

Webster said that Tina Clouse’s family had not heard from Dean Clouse since October 1980 when they lived in Lewisville.

Tina and Dean were contacted by “Sister Susan”, a person identifying herself only as her in the period December 1980 to January 1981. She claimed she called Tina, Dean, and their car from Los Angeles, California.

Sister Susan said, “Tina had joined the religious group and that they didn’t want to be in contact with their families anymore”.

Webster stated, “They were also giving up all their possessions. “Sister Susan” requested money to return their car to Florida. Webster said that they were willing to pay. However, the family contacted the authorities to clarify the situation.

“Sister Susan” was the name of a woman who the family met at a Daytona racetrack in Florida. Webster suggests that she was with at least one other woman.

He stated, “Once again, these women were wearing dresses and appeared to be part of this religious group.”

The Police believe that the women were taken into custody by them but have not been able to locate any police records. Officials described it as a 1978 AMC Concord two-door, which was either red or burgundy.

Tina and Dean Clouse’s remains were discovered between January 6 and January 11, 1981, off of Wallisville Road in Harris County, Texas, Webster said.

Investigators believe they were murdered between December 1980 and early January 1981.

Neighbor’s Video Shows, Kavanaugh Suspect Roske’s Home Gets Raided by FBI

0

A neighbor captured a new video showing law enforcement officers searching Nicholas John Roske’s California home. Roske was arrested Wednesday for the attempted murder of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

David Burgett tweeted, “Can’t believe that dude who wanted Brett Kavanaugh to die was my neighbor,” and he filmed the video from his driveway.

Burgett claimed he didn’t know Roske and his family because he “never spoke to them” and only saw them outside.

According to a criminal complaint, Roske, from Simi Valley in California, was carrying a gun and ammunition along with a knife, pepper spray, and a screwdriver.

Roske said to detectives that he was “upset” by the leak of a Supreme Court decision regarding the right-to-an abortion and the recent school shooting in Uvalde (Texas) and that he believed Kavanaugh would support Second Amendment decisions that would relax gun control laws, according to the affidavit.

Roske told police that he bought the gun and other items to help him “give his life purpose.” He also stated that he was looking for a way to kill Kavanaugh and himself. Roske confessed to the FBI in a second interview that he intended to kill Kavanaugh, and then himself, according to an affidavit supporting the criminal complaint.

Roske was charged by the Department of Justice with trying or threatening to kidnap and murder a U.S. Judge. A preliminary hearing is set for June 22.

Here is a video of Roske’s arrest:

Gay Love Affair and Guilty Conviction for Chrisley Knows Best Stars Julie and Todd

0

Did Todd Chrisley Cheat on Julie?

Todd Chrisley has allegedly cheated on Julie with his ex-business partner. They hired a blackmailer to conceal the affair

According to Business Insider Mark Braddock testified Tuesday in the ongoing federal Fraud Trial against the Chrisleys. He said that he had been intimate with Todd (53), for about a year in 2000.

Braddock said that the affair was over and that they maintained a friendship until 2012 which he linked to a brotherhood.

Braddock was a member of Todd’s foreclosed management firm, Chrisley Asset Management. He stated that they began to receive text messages anonymously threatening them with fraud, and their alleged affair.

According to the report, Braddock said that one of his texts read: “Pay cash and then, we’ll shut up.”

He claimed he withdrew four payments of $9,500 from his account and gave it back to Todd to pay the blackmailer.

Bruce Morris, Chrisley’s lawyer, stated that Braddock was “obsessed” with Todd and wanted to be him in his opening statement. Business Insider reports that this sentiment was reiterated during cross-examination.

Page Six asked for comments from Todd and Morris. They did not immediately respond.

Todd, age 53, is married to Julie and has three children, Chase, Savannah, and Grayson. (Todd also has two children with Teresa Terry: Lindsie, 32, and Kyle, 31).

The family has been part of “Chrisley knows Best since 2014. ”

Since Todd was brought to the forefront of attention, there has been much speculation regarding Todd’s sexual orientation.

The real estate entrepreneur dismissed rumors that his gay identity was a matter of fact, “flattering” at one point.

He stated, “In order for it to disappoint me, it would mean that I don’t believe in homosexuality” on “The Domenick Nati Show” in 2017.

“I don’t believe it’s a choice that you make. I believe you were created in a God-given manner. ”

Todd stated that he was “flattered” that people thought he could be laid on both ends. He laughed and said, “My wife certainly feels humbled that as many men desire to be her husband than there are wives”. “I don’t believe there will ever be drought”.

Guilty of Federal Tax Evasion

Multiple reports claim that the couple, who stars in USA Network’s series Chrisley Knows Best, were both convicted by a federal jury in Atlanta of multiple bank fraud and tax evasion charges.

Sentencing takes place at 9:30 AM on October 6th. The couple may spend up to 30 consecutive years behind bars.

Federal prosecutors charged Todd and Julie Chrisley with conspiracy to commit bank fraud, bank fraud, conspiracy to defraud the United States, and tax fraud. Julie Chrisley was further charged with wire fraud and obstruction of justice.

The couple is accused of defrauding a local bank of $30 million in loans. After the show began in 2014, they were accused of using 7C’s Productions as a way to avoid taxes.

Keri Farley, Special Agent in Charge at FBI Atlanta stated that “If you lie, cheat and steal, justice blinds as regards to your fame, fortune, and your position.” “In the end, when driven by greed, the verdict of guilty for all 3 defendants proves that financial crimes don’t pay,” (Peter Tarantino is the third defendant in this case).

The Chrisleys were released on bond. However, a court order from the judge states that they must participate in a location monitoring program. They must also pay for home detention, and are responsible for all or part of the costs of the program based upon their ability to pay as determined by the probation officer.

Republican Candidate for Michigan Governor Arrested by FBI on J6 Charges

0

Ryan Kelley was one of the few Republican candidates for Michigan governor. He was arrested by the FBI for participating in the January 6 protest.

Fascinating Facts:

The FBI received several tips regarding Kelley participating in the January 6 “Stop the Steal” rally.
Kelley was arrested Thursday and taken into FBI custody.
The FBI searched Kelley’s home but found no evidence that he entered the Capitol.

Kelly is accused of waving at the Capitol crowd. Kelly is charged with disorderly behavior, committing depredation of federal property, entering a restricted space unlawfully, and engaging in physical violence within a restricted zone.

It is not clear why the arrest was made at such a suspicious time. Five other Republican candidates were disqualified recently from running after signatures they submitted proved fraudulent. This included front-runner James Craig who was considered a serious threat to Gretchen Whitmer, the current commie governor.

Notable, too, is tonight’s primetime J6 clown-fest by the Democrats.

Ryan Kelley is among five Republican candidates who are still in the race.

Support For Assault Weapons Ban Hits All-Time Low Following Uvalde Shooting

0

A poll has shown that Americans don’t support an “assault weapons banning” in the United States. This is despite Democrats calling to ban it after a massacre at a Texas elementary school. Quinnipiac University polled 50 percent of respondents last week to determine if they support banning semi-automatic long guns in the United States. This is the lowest level of support since Quinnipiac began asking this question back in February 2013.

67% of the population voted for the ban in February 2018, days after the Parkland school shooting that left 17 people dead.

The poll found that Americans favor some form of gun control. 74% support increasing the minimum age to purchase a gun from 18-21.

According to the poll, 57% of Americans favor tighter gun laws in America. This is a significant increase from the Quinnipiac November Poll which had a mere 45% support.

91% support stricter gun laws than 32% of Republicans.

The poll found that 92% of Americans support background check regardless of party affiliation.

The poll also revealed that 42% of Americans expected Washington, D.C. politicians, to reduce gun violence over the next year, while 54% didn’t.

President Joe Biden demanded the reinstatement of the federal assault weapons ban after the Uvalde shooting last week. It involved an AR-15 rifle as well as a gunman. It was passed for the first time in 1994. It was repealed in 2004.

Biden stated that the country must also strengthen Background checks and enact Safe Storage and Red Flag Laws.

J.J Abrams, Who’s Made Millions Off Movies With Guns, Demands Senate Pass More Gun Control Laws

0

J.J. Abrams, the Hollywood director, producer, and head of Bad Robot, is one of over 200 corporate CEOs who are urging the U.S. Senate to pass “gun safety legislation.” This vague term, which they haven’t defined and left open for interpretation, was not defined by them.

J.J. Abrams’ career has seen him manage many TV and movie shows that sensationalized gun play and fire arms, such as the ABC series Alias and Star Wars movies and Mission: Impossible movies. He and Hollywood studios made billions of dollars in box office revenue.

The CEOs appealed to legislators in an open letter they posted online.

They stated that the Senate should urgently pass gun safety legislation to prevent more deaths and injuries.

The letter did not provide any examples of the type of legislation they were looking to support.

The CEOs of Oaktree Capital Management and the San Francisco 49ers are among the signatories.

J.J. Abrams is one of Hollywood’s most left-leaning directors. Bad Robot published an internal guide for employees in 2020 to “dismantle white supremacy at Work” and encouraged employees to create an environment that is “anti-racist”.

Disney Ousts TV Content Exec Peter Rice

0

Disney fired Peter Rice, its chairman for general entertainment content, according to reports.

Sources claim that Rice was “ill-fit” with Disney’s corporate culture. Variety sources said that Rice was completely blindsided by the decision.

Rice was the chairman and was responsible to oversee Disney’s original entertainment programming as well as news programming on its streaming platforms. Rice was responsible in marketing and developing over 4,500 hours of Disney General Entertainment programming each year across more than 300 entertainment and news programs.

Rice was Disney’s partner in the 2019 purchase of 21st Century Fox’s film and television assets. Rice began his career in Twentieth Century Fox’s marketing department in 1989.
Disney made Rice’s resignation public in a Thursday press release. Dana Walden, Walt Disney Television Chairman, would take his place.

Bob Chapek from Disney, CEO, described Walden as a “dynamic, collaborative leader” who helped to transform the company’s TV business into an entertainment powerhouse.

Walden joined Disney in 2019 with the acquisition 21st Century Fox. He will now report to Chapek.

Geoff Morrell, corporate affairs chief at Disney, left in April. Some thought Rice could be the next Chapek.

This announcement is made amid ongoing political struggles between Ron DeSantis, Florida Governor, and the entertainment mogul Ron DeSantis. Disney said that it would push for the repeal of this law by the state legislature or its adherence in courts after it was signed into effect in March.

Disney stock dropped more than 30% over the past year.

PGA Tour Disciplines Golfers Who Turned Their Backs on Organization to Play for LIV Golf

0

LIV Golf tournament participants will no longer be eligible for the Presidents Cup and PGA Tour events, Commissioner Jay Monahan informed members in a memo Thursday.

LIV Golf’s inaugural tournament in London was the occasion for this memo to PGA Tour members. Stars like Dustin Johnson and Phil Mickelson will be part of the Saudi-backed league. Lee Westwood, Lee Westwood, and Kevin Na are also included. Monahan thanked all those who attended the RBC Canadian Open this weekend and addressed his letter “to those players who chose to ignore the PGA TOUR’s regulations.”

The memo specifically mentioned Johnson, Mickelson, Na, Westwood as well as Sergio Garcia, Talor Goch, Branden Grace, and Matt Jones. Monahan stated that either these players did not receive LIV Golf releases or they didn’t apply.

According to the memo, players who resigned their memberships (including Garcia, Grace Johnson, Kaymer, and McDowell), would be removed from FedEx Cup Points List after the conclusion of the RBC Canadian Open. Those who resign will not be permitted to play in PGA Tour tournaments unless they are a sponsor exemption or another eligibility category.

“These players made their decision for financial reasons. They can’t expect the same PGA Tour benefits, considerations and opportunities as you. This expectation is disrespectful to you, our fans, and our partners. The memo stated that you have chosen to abide by the Tournament Regulations when you achieved your dream of getting a PGA Tour card.

“I’m certain that our partners and fans – who are sure tired of hearing about money, more money, and more money – will continue to be entertained by the world-class competition which you present each week. There are real consequences for every shot and you have a rightful place in history when you reach that elusive winner’s circle.

Monahan praised those who stayed with the PGA Tour and stated that being part of the organization was all about “lifting up” all involved.

“I know that you are with me, and vice versa. We are also supported by our partners”. Monahan said, “It should be clear that former Tour colleagues aren’t able to say the same thing”.

LIV Golf was backed by Saudi Arabia’s financial arm and shook up golf when it offered PGA Tour members crazy amounts of money to play in the rival league.

Some players made the decision to move to the new league and were then subject to the wrathful PGA Tour. Players who might decide to leave the PGA Tour in future years will be subject to the same discipline.

LIV Golf reacted to the suspension of the PGA Tour, calling it “vindictive.”

Today’s announcement of the PGA Tour by vindictive is it deepens the division between the Tour members and the Tour. LIV Golf stated that it was troubling that the Tour, which is an organization that aims to create opportunities for golfers, is the one preventing them from playing.

This is certainly not the end of the topic. We are excited to announce the era of free agency.
