A Senate Opportunity Fund survey revealed that most Americans blame President Joe Biden and don’t believe that the Democrat party is fighting for their interests.

Overall, 71% of Americans believe the country is on the wrong track. 50% disapprove of Biden. 56 percent of Americans oppose his policies and 58 percent blame Biden for the record-high levels of inflation in America. Only 23 percent of respondents blame Republicans, which is less than 25%.

70 percent believe that Biden and Democrats are more interested in pushing their progressive agendas than in solving problems that affect everyday Americans, such as rising gas prices.

Respondents were also asked if the Republican Party and the Democrat Party work for them. 55 percent of respondents believed that the Democrat Party was not working for them, whereas 36 percent said it is. 48% said that the Republican Party was not fighting for them, while 40% said it is.

This survey was conducted among 800 voters between July 5 and 7, with a +/– 3.5 percent margin for error. This is bad news for Democrats who are hoping to keep their majority in both the House and Senate following the midterm elections. Survey after survey shows that Americans are losing faith in Democrats as grocery and gas prices continue to rise without any relief.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D.CA) and Senate Majority leader Chuck Schumer (D.NY) tried to address the issue of gas prices in April, but they excused themselves and blamed oil and gas companies as well as Russia for the invasion of Ukraine.

Pelosi’s theory may be tested in November, but polls indicate that it is not working for Democrats.
