Biden Economic Adviser Says White House Hasn’t Missed Much At All On Inflation

0

Jared Bernstein, an economic advisor to President Biden, said Monday that he believes the White House didn’t miss much on inflation during CNBC’s “Squawk Box.” Bernstein stressed that Biden has made inflation his top economic priority, and stated “that there’s always an opportunity to do something.” Inflation reached 8.6% in May and climbed to a new 40-year high.

Bernstein stated that it was an important question and was better than the “gotcha” stuff.

“I believe the most important lesson here is that, when you live in uncertain times and people make the predictions they made, nobody knows about delta or omicron. No one knows anything about Putin’s invasion of Ukraine. Berstein stated that in a world of geopolitical and economic uncertainty, you need a White House who understands the importance of insurance policies.

Sorkin continued to press, saying that although Ukraine and the pandemic had made matters worse, there would still “an inflationary story” regardless of those factors.

CNBC’s host asked the White House what it had missed and what its lesson was.

“I don’t believe the White House has missed anything in the following sense. We have a team. I understand you are pushing in a different direction but I believe looking forward is the most important thing. Bernstein stated that the president believes we can do anything with a team of experienced people. “We aren’t content to sit back and hope these forecasts of stable growth and slowing inflation come true.

He stated that he has “never done more” to assist with supply in his career.

According to Quinnipiac’s Wednesday poll, Biden’s approval rating was 33% among Americans and 35% with registered voters.

Bernstein also stated that the war in Ukraine made inflation worse.

So if you look at the president’s three-point plan to fight inflation, number one is Fed independence. It is the main institution that fights inflation here and internationally. Inflation, which is exacerbated by Putin’s war, is in reality a global problem, so we need a fed independent of it,” he added.

After hitting 8.5% in March, inflation rose to 8.3% in April. Over the weekend, the national average price per gallon of gasoline was $5. Sunday’s Washington Post report stated that Democrats could lose the battle for the economy if they don’t change their messaging on inflation and gas prices.

Average Price Of Gas In One California County Soars To $7.79

0

California’s average gas price has reached record levels. These counties have some of the highest gas prices anywhere in the country.

On Monday, the national average gas price reached $5.014. This represents a nearly 15-cent increase in gas prices over the past week and a 58-cent increase in gas prices in the last month.

21 states currently have gas prices that exceed $5.00 per gallon. These include Maine, Vermont and New York. Massachusetts, Rhode Island. New York, New Jersey. Pennsylvania. Ohio. Indiana. Michigan. Alaska. Hawaii. Washington. Oregon. Utah. Nevada. Arizona. California is the state with the highest average gas prices in the country at $6.436 per gallon.

However, the reality is worse than it seems. Several counties in these states have average prices that exceed $6.00.

For example, the average price in Washoe County in Nevada is $6.122. However, several California counties have averages that are higher than the state’s astronomical average. These include Monterey ($6.600), San Mateo (6.637), Sonoma (6.613), Humboldt (6.825). California’s Alpine County is currently the county with the highest average gas price, at $7.799. Mono County is close behind with a $7.234 average price.

Diesel prices in the state are now at an all-time high of $7.00. They were $6.991 on Monday.

Biden officials have not done much to address the concerns of Americans, who indicate that gas prices will be a major issue in the midterm elections.

Republicans Who Struck Gun Control Deals With Dems Fought Off Key Proposals

Senate Republicans Who Struck Deal With Dems Fought Off Push To Raise Assault Weapons Purchase Age To 21
The deal that was reached this weekend on gun legislation by GOP senators rejected many Democrat proposals. They also opposed an assault weapons ban for anyone under 21.

Fox News spoke to an aide of Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas), who was leading talks on the subject. He said that the Republicans had shut down an assault weapons ban for 18-21-year-olds as well as a mandatory waiting period for gun sales.

The Cornyn aide stated that there were also Democrat proposals: a 21-day waiting time for anyone under 21 to buy any firearm; a ban on high-capacity magazines; universal background checks; safe storage requirements and criminal penalties for improperly storing firearms in their homes; and a requirement for a license to purchase an assault rifle.

Fox News was also informed by a separate GOP aide that Democrats had supported these proposals in talks.

Multiple sources close to the negotiations said that many of the ideas on the list were rejected by Republicans at the beginning of talks. The assault weapons ban for anyone under 21 was the most popular idea that Democrats supported, sources confirm.

However, it was not included in the final framework. The deal that was announced Sunday only deals with 18-to-21 year-olds. It includes an “investigative time to review juvenile mental health records, including checks with local law enforcement databases.”

The final framework includes provisions regarding straw buying firearms, support for state red flag law and closing the “boyfriend loophole”, which allows court-adjudicated domestic abusers who are not married to their partner to purchase guns. It also clarifies the definition of a firearms seller. The deal also contains provisions regarding school safety and mental health.

Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) led negotiations for Democrats. Although he has repeatedly stated that he wants Congress to do more on gun control, he is willing to make even a small deal with Republicans in order to get at least something done. Fox News Monday’s request for comment from Murphy’s office was not immediately answered by Murphy’s office.

The initial framework was signed by 10 Republicans. This means that there are theoretically enough GOP votes for the break of a filibuster to pass a bill in 50-50.

However, this number may be shaky as legislators will still need to agree on a legislative text and not just broad principles within a framework.

After a string of mass shootings, Senate discussions on gun legislation started in the wake. One in Uvalde in Texas killed 19 children and injured two others. A mass shooting at a Buffalo grocery store that was apparently motivated by racial motivation also took the lives of 10 people.

Three people were recently killed and one was injured in a shooting incident in Smithsburg, Maryland. A man opened fire in a Columbia Machine factory break room.

Cornyn stressed that the Sunday framework of 20 senators will not stop Americans exercising their Second Amendment rights. He tweeted Sunday that the framework “will not infringe upon the rights of law-abiding firearm owners.”

Others Republicans say they won’t support legislation that creates new rules or regulations about owning firearms. They also attack Cornyn’s group because it is squishy with GOP voters’ priorities.

Why Didn’t LeBron James Want to Discuss the Senseless Murder at His Akron School?

0

LeBron James is a notorious racist who was unusually silent after a white teenager was beaten to death at his I Promise School in Akron, Ohio. This is in direct contradiction to the narrative LeBron James has promoted over the years.

Facts:

Three young men were playing basketball at LeBron’s “I Promise” school after an altercation involving a SPlatRBall Softgel gun. The trio suckered Liming.
Liming was unconscious and fell to the ground. The trio beat him to death.
LeBron sent an unfinished Tweet that contained grammar and spelling mistakes.
Three black men were arrested by the U.S. Marshals in connection to the brutal murders of Tyler Stafford (19), Deshawn Stafford (20) and Donovon Jones (21 ).

Were the murderers who were playing basketball on LeBron’s I Promise School’s courts able to look at LeBron and take his racist, whiny nonsense seriously?

Are white people “hunting” black people in the U.S.? The FBI claims the exact opposite.

According to the FBI, blacks kill twice as many whites every year as whites.

Bill Liming. Ethan’s father suggested there might be a racial undertone to his son’s death.

Three African American men, and one woman, stood by and did nothing to help my son Ethan Liming. My son was murdered because he was seen as someone whose lives weren’t important to others.

The police claim they have no reason to believe this murder was race-related, yet we know that some of the friends Ethan was hanging out with were black. Though they allegedly did call 911 and attempt to get him into a car, it was just Ethan versus the three men who have since been arrested. No one else was even injured.

King James has yet to release a statement since the arrests.

AG Garland Under Amplified Pressure to Enforce Federal Law Prohibiting Picketing Outside Justices’ Homes

0

Attorney General Merrick Garland is under increasing pressure to enforce Federal Law that prohibits Picketing outside of the Homes of Supreme Court Judges for Influencing Decisions.

Federal U.S. Code 1507 states that anyone “picketing or marching” within close proximity of U.S. courts or “near any residence owned by such judge or juror witness or court officer” will be subject to a fine or both.

Protests are allowed as long as they remain peaceful. Protesters have been encouraged to demonstrate outside the residences of Supreme Court justices, due to the leakage of the abortion decision. Garland’s DOJ has yet to bring charges against the people who attacked the residences of justices, even after the attempted assassination of Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

Critics find it difficult to understand the intransigent DOJ approach.

Former Trump administration Attorney General Bill Barr stated that the law was clear and that protests at the residence of a Judge in order to influence them is a federal crime.

Barr stated in an email that the Administration’s claims about supporting the First Amendment were false.

He stated, “Demonstrations that violate the statute are invalid First Amendment activities.”

Judicial Crisis Network was a conservative legal group that sided with the former Attorney General. The protests were illegal and picketing at justice’s residents could cause impartial court decision-making.

Carrie Severino, executive director of Judicial Crisis Network, stated that federal law prohibits pickets or parades in front of a judge’s residence. This also applies to those trying to influence a Judge. Merrick Garland refuses to enforce the law despite protestors gathering at the residences of justices.

Capitol Hill also is interested in the DOJ’s response to protests at justice’s homes.

Garland was called “a hack partisan” by Senator Tom Cotton, R. Ark. He was forced to resign for not performing his duty.

“A Democratic hitman attempted to kill Justice Kavanaugh’s family”. Cotton claimed that left-wing street militias made the same threat to Justice Kavanaugh. Merrick Garland didn’t stop the intimidation, which is clearly a violation of federal law.

“His primary job is to enforce the law, and he has failed totally,” the Republican senator continued. “If he won’t resign, then we’ll impeach him once Republicans control the Congress in January. Either way, he is finished.”

The DOJ did not reply when we requested their comment regarding the situation.

Biden Can’t Fix Inflation If He Can’t Stop Lying About It

0

For several months, I have been accusing President Biden of having no plan to deal with inflation. My accusation was false. On closer inspection, it becomes apparent that they simply want to hope that everyone is good at math.

Although my math skills are not as good as they were when I was a boy, I still know how to distinguish the big numbers from the small ones.

These days, there have been many more large numbers. But here’s the truth: Team Biden keeps reminding us that it’s all just a fantasy. It’s too real, unfortunately.

Gwendolyn wrote this weekend about the current state the U.S. Misery Index.

Economists can use this data to determine the country’s economic health. To get a snapshot of the economy, they add the U.S. unemployment rate (currently 3.6%) to the current U.S. inflation rate (currently 8.58%). This is the U.S. Misery Index.

The current U.S. Misery Index is at 12.18%.

Inflation is at an all-time high, not seen since the Jimmy Carter Administration, it’s no surprise that the Misery Index rose higher than last month’s levels. This caused increases in basic necessities such as food, shelter, and gasoline. This means that American consumers feel Bidenflation every day.

The average person is what they are experiencing every day, regardless of how much the White House spins the world. They don’t stop trying, however. They actually tried to promote the notion that inflation only affects the upper classes last fall.

Team Clown Car assures us that everything will be fine. Rick tells the story:

We all expect the White House will spin negative economic news. Karine Jean-Pierre, White House press secretary, stated that “what we’re trying is to say that the economy is better than it has ever been historically.” “We believe that we are in a strong position to tackle inflation.

When I wrote my first article about the government’s inexcusable inflation lies, it was exactly one year ago. The problem is that nothing has changed. None of those who should be involved in resolving the problem are honest. We can see that they are delusional about the entire economy.

It’s one thing for politicians to try to make a pig look better and then sell it to the public. It seems that Biden’s staff is trying to spin the story for themselves.

This is a rough guideline for finding the right solution.

It might be more comforting at this point if President LOL Eighty-one-million, his staff, and others would just shake their heads and say “Yeah…no idea.” This honesty would be refreshing.

If they aren’t honest about their situation, there won’t be a plan. and therefore no solution. This is like a physician looking at a severed femoral artery and prescribing amoxicillin because he keeps telling himself that the patient has an ear infection.

This patient will bleed out quickly.

Soros Encounters Latino Resistance

0

Radio Mambi, WAQI 701, is part of Miami’s fabric, just like Cafecito or Cafe Cubano. In a city with 80% or more Spanish-speaking neighborhoods, it is a Spanish-language radio station. It is like telenovelas and it is always there in the background, part of the pulse of this vibrant American city.

You can hear Cuban voices accompanied by the muffled sounds of good Rum, Venezuelans, or Colombians.

Soros, a billionaire has joined an $80m venture to buy large amounts of Spanish media including TelevisaUnivision.

Soros and his cronies believe ownership is the best way of controlling the narrative. Marcus Aurelius stated, “He who eats my bread, does mine will.” It’s cheaper to buy political constituencies via media manipulation than it is to engage in fair-minded political debate.

Mambi is the name of a soldier who fought in the Cuban independence War in 1898. Radio Mambi could be a way to keep the package on air. The package may not be completed in time to vote for November.

Twitter has proven that it is hard to stop a billionaire from buying a company. False narratives are hard to stop. Nevertheless, if your former country was lost because of false narratives, you tend to fight hard against promoting false narratives. In fact, you tend to see all narratives as pretty much false. In other countries, narratives are called propaganda. Here they are called public relations. It’s a mindless spin, designed to fool people, no matter your perception. And if enough employees at Radio Mambi want no part of George Soros’ attempt to promote mindless spin to the Latino community, he may find this Cafecito way too hot to swallow.

Parent Co. Gannett Tells USA Today, Enough With the Opinions Already

0

Gannett Newspapers has instructed its newsrooms to reduce the number of opinion pieces and biased articles that are “repelling” readers and driving away subscribers. Gannett, the owner of USA Today and local newspapers in almost every state, has been rated “Left Center” by Media Bias / Fact Check. This means that readers don’t object to Gannett’s rare conservative viewpoint. They’re sick of being lectured.

DailyMail reports that a committee made up of editors from chain newspapers stated in April that readers don’t want them to tell them what they think. DailyMail said that they don’t believe we are qualified to give advice on all issues.

Readers this week responded to the news by telling media companies to hire writers that weren’t left-wing activists. This is due in large part to the left-leaning biases of many national newspapers and news networks.

Gannett isn’t worried about their audience losing faith in the media. It is lost revenue due to canceled subscriptions.

Washington Post: The committee stated that editorials and opinion columns are not only “among our least-read content”, but readers also cite them as a reason to cancel their subscriptions.

USA Today is the nation’s largest newspaper publisher. Its website USATODAY.com reaches seven million readers each day. It is huge that USA Today decided to stop giving opinions.

Gannet’s 250+ newspapers have already begun to reduce their opinion pages, and are removing endorsements from political parties except at the local level. Gannett seems to be learning the same lesson from CNN: that constant lecturing and bias don’t make people want your content. As Nick Arama reported in April, ratings-challenged CNN is undergoing its own retooling.

David Zaslav (CEO of Warner Brothers Discovery), who oversees CNN, said that CNN must be about truth and facts. He stated that if we have this, we can have civilized societies. “And without it, if it all becomes advocacy we don’t have a civilized society.”

The NY Post commented on Gannett’s bias crackdown with an editorial entitled “Corporate Media may finally be awakening to reality”.

The industry began to lose its credibility when it became convinced that its job is to tell readers what to believe, how to respond, and when. According to Gallup, the vast majority of Americans have lost faith in the media’s ability to accurately and fairly report the news.

A Gallup poll in 2021 found that the Post is correct:

All told, 7% of U.S. adults believe they have “a lot” and 29% say they have “a fair bit” of trust in news media, radio, and television. This is four points higher than the record 32% in 2016 during the divisive presidential campaign between Donald Trump, and Hillary Clinton.

The media’s credibility was only increased by the pandemic. This is probably because those locked in their homes noticed that they were being constantly harangued, gaslit, and lied to:

Trust in legacy media plummetted over course of pandemic: survey https://t.co/rBj03jMUU1 via @truenorthcentre

— Candice Malcolm (@CandiceMalcolm) June 10, 2022

Gannett’s order is focused on eliminating editorials, letters to the editor, and national political endorsements. However, I believe the message they are sending is that straight articles must be less biased. It is no secret that the majority of mainstream newspapers are propaganda arms for the Democratic National Committee, and they ignore at least half of the country. America’s viewers and readers are awakenings to the possibility of real change.

Over 12 Students in Uvalde Were Alive During the Hour Before Police Entered Classroom

0

A New York Times report said that approximately 12 students from Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, were still alive an hour before police arrived in their classroom.

According to the report, 33 children and three teachers were in the path of the shooter. Police waited an hour and 17 mins before entering the classrooms. Despite 60 officers already present at the school, this was unacceptable.

The NYT:

Investigators have been working to determine whether any of those who died could have been saved if they had received medical attention sooner, according to an official with knowledge of the effort. But there is no question that some of the victims were still alive and in desperate need of medical attention. One teacher died in an ambulance. Three children died at nearby hospitals, according to the documents.

The documents also reveal that the officers arrived with long guns.

Pete Arredondo is the chief of Uvalde’s school district police and is being questioned about his response to the shooting which claimed 19 lives and injured two teachers.

Arredondo said in an interview with Texas Tribune, that he left behind two radios that caused communication problems between him (other authorities) and them. Arrendondo defended the decision by saying that grabbing radios was a waste of time and that radios might not have worked at the school based on previous experience.

The Tribune explains:

Arredondo made one of the most significant and consequential decisions in his life. He was at the northeast entrance of Robb Elementary at 11.35 AM and left his campus radios, police, and other equipment outside the school.

To Arredondo, the choice was logical. An armed killer was loose on the campus of the elementary school. Every second mattered. He wanted both hands free to hold his gun, ready to aim and fire quickly and accurately if he encountered the gunman.

Arredondo provided the following account during a telephone interview. Arredondo also gave written answers to the questions and explained his lawyer’s reasoning.

He said he didn’t speak up sooner as he didn’t want to cause more grief or blame others.

According to NBC News, the chief is also a councilman in his city. He was elected prior to the shooting. He missed his first meeting earlier this week.

Republicans, Democrats Dismiss Impact Jan. 6 Could Have On Midterms

0

Many Democrats and Republicans strongly reject the notion that Jan. 6, investigation and hearings, will have any significant impact on the midterm elections.

Multiple Democratic strategists and Republican members of Congress spoke out to Fox News Digital to discredit the idea that voters at either end of the political spectrum are more motivated to vote because of Jan. 6 Committee’s actions. Instead, they pointed to “much larger” issues such as the economy which they believe will play a greater role in November.

The Jan. 6 Committee is comprised of 7 Democrats, 2 Republicans, Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) and Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.). It was part of an investigation into the Jan. 6 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol by former President Donald Trump supporters.

This hearing is likely to be one of many televised hearings by the committee. The next two are already scheduled for Monday and Wednesday next weeks.

Jessica Tarlov, a Fox News contributor and Democratic strategist, echoed Khanna’s sentiment.

She said that the “much larger” issues facing voters would be Roe v. Wade’s possible overturning by the Supreme Court and the ongoing debate about guns after the massacre at Uvalde Elementary School in Texas that resulted in the deaths of 19 students and two teachers.

Marshall and Tarlov both predicted that it would be “very likely” that Republicans would win control of House of Representatives in November. However, they were divided on what this meant for the investigation.

Tarlov expressed confidence that the committee would complete its work by November. Marshall however suggested that the investigation, even if it was not complete, “wouldn’t continue” after the House is under Republican control.

Despite the grim outlook for Democrats’ chances of winning, each member praised the efforts of the committee in conducting the investigation.

Marshall stated that the American people have to see the findings of the committee. “It’s vital for the American people that they know how far people went to overthrow a free, fair and democratic election.”

Tarlov stated that the committee serves a purpose and that Jan. 6 was “a stark reminder” of where the Republican Party stands today.

The Republicans acknowledged that other issues, including the economy, would be the main focus in November but had a negative view of the committee.

Brooks is running to replace retiring Senator Richard Shelby, R-Ala. He has not yet responded to a subpoena to appear in front of the committee. Brooks claimed that the work of the committee was “a propaganda effort” and “akin the Russian collusion hoax.”

Brooks, who agreed with Marshall and Tarlov, predicted that voters would care more about high gas prices and inflation and the possibility of a recession than about Jan. 6.

Rep. Brian Mast, R-Fla., suggested that Washington, D.C.’s January 6 focus, rather than issues affecting Americans every day, could drive voters to the Republicans.

Mast called the committee “a distraction, misdirection and a sleight-of-hand” before predicting that Republicans would win the midterms, ending the “inherently unjust” process of the committee.
